I have the 2021 SS 1LE with the 6 speed. It has only 2700 miles. It is my weekend cruise car. It is by far my favorite driving car with that sweet 6.2 sound. It's too bad the electric garbage cars are being forced down our throats. Nobody is asking for those long wait times to charge a battery... Great review as always,,, and of course it would not happen without Lori getting all the great shots and angles.

I had a 2019 2 SS that I traded for a c 8 but I really missed my Camaro. I just bought a brand new shock and steel 2 SS Camaro. I got it for 2 under sticker plus an additional 750 rebate. Whether they hold their value or not I just feel damn lucky to have one again. It's just a very impressive car.
How long did your order take? I have 2020 SS and my original dealer is saying 3 month wait for C8 order or buy one now with a markup, and other dealers are telling me 9-12 months

Picked up a 2023 Camaro SS about 3 weeks ago and was nervous if Id regret not waiting for the 24'. I'm so glad I didn't wait because this wouldn't have been worth it haha.
Bought mine in 2019 and not a single day has passed that I have regretted it. It's as special to me today as the day I drove it off the lot. Is it fair to say the car is being killed off though? GM/Chevrolet says this is not the end of the Camaro story.
They've suggested that the next Camaro will be a EV. Which depending on who you ask a EV is not a real insert car name. I'm hoping that with the recent investment into their future V8s that GM will possibly bring back the Camaro as a hybrid. I'll take a hybrid sedan Camaro, preferably a 2 door over a EV anything Camaro.
I have a brand new 2017 Camaro Krypton green 💚 and the day I got it off the showroom floor I do not regret it. I bought it a year ago with very very little miles on it. I call it the Kryptonian. I absolutely love it my next one's going to BAC 8 and I'm hoping to own a 5th gen Camaro SS soon.

The 2020 engine blew. Got a 2021 Chaklenger Scar Pack Widebody, that car was also fantastic but not my style. So I pick up the ZL1, VERY much worth the upgrade.
I'm planning on either buying a lightly used SS 1LE or putting a deposit on one within the next few months. This chasis has remained so competitive even to this day. Sad to see it go

I've owned Mustangs and have loved Mustangs since my first, a 1991 LX 5.0. I've never been a fan of the Camaro but when I rented a 2019 Mustang GT and had to return it..I was offered a 2019 Camaro SS. I took it and omfg...I fell in love with it. The spartan interior with the handling felt MUCH better and more driver oriented. I would definitely pick one up.
2:55 "Rapid Blue" has been around for at least 40 years , it's actually one of the "safety" colors used in Europe , because of it's high visibility it gets you lower insurance premiums.
Great review, love the Camaro's. I have a 6th gen and a 4th gen currently. Will miss them, but glad the camaro has always stayed true to their roots and like you hope to never see it as an EV or a 4 door. The Camaro has a loyal following of enthusiasts, it's not just a car to us.
It is such a shame that we will never see a 7th gen Camaro. I feel as though they were neglected while the C8 got all of the attention from GM and so it never got the love and attention that it deserved. Thank you so much Joe for reviewing the 2024 Camaro. I bought a 2023 SS convertible in Rapid blue back in September. I've been waiting to see what next year's model will look like to determine if I was going to order one in June. They are the same model that's been put out the past few years. No horsepower increase or body styling changes, so I won't be ordering a 2024. It's sad to see them go, but they will be back. The little accent stickers aren't really an upgrade at all. Maybe the commemorative edition will, but I highly doubt it.
Some people say "But there are so many blind spots in a Camaro." You don't need to see anything except the cars you're passing as you scream down the highway.
Just bought a 2023 1SS convertible and absolutely love it. Going to be my fun car to drive around for years to come in the nice weather. Almost to the break-in period as well so can finally open it up soon !!
I love the Camaro. I have a 2021 RS. I had a 2002 Z28 which I regret trading in . I was at the NY Auto Show too. They relegated the Camaro SS to the rear corner and the Malibu to behind its display.
have 2024 2ss convertible in metallic orange black stripe I love it. People stop and tell me they love the color I traded my c7 vette for this beauty. Don't regret it one bit.
Disappointing to see the camaro go but even more disappointing that almost NOTHING was updated for the final year of production. All we got is camaro silhouettes and carbon dash that ppl can order from aftermarket companies like that have for years 😅. Would have been nice to see new wheels, colors, seats, or something.

Beautiful car, the end of an era. Yes a 1/2 a zonk for the "SS" badge on the bumper main reason being it complicates detailing the rear bumper on your baby. However the area on the trunk is too small to put it next to the Chevy Bowtie, it would look too busy there. Personally I think the Rapid Blue looks even better on the C8.

Gm could have done some much with this car. They could have put the LT2 in the SS, used the L8T truck motor to make an SS 396, or made the Z/28 with the LT6 and a manual. Sales would've soared.

My dad and I used to work at the Javits Center and the best show of the year was the car show. It’s when we would basically work around the clock sometimes 18 or 20 hour days sleep for a few hours in a room and come back to work, but it wasn’t about the money. It was about putting the shows together and getting a first look at the car, the only thing I miss about working at the Javits Center. Back then if you help someone out get their booth together a little faster, you would make friends with someone and if you needed a car, they would tell you who to go talk to.
Believe it or not, I just traded my '23 70TH Anniversary C8 Stingray Coupe on a '24 Camaro 2SS Convertible. I bought a Black one with the Adrenaline Red interior. It has a 6 speed manual, Mag Ride, Dual Mode exhaust and the same wheels in your video. Really liked the C8, but found myself getting bored with out the manual transmission. Happy with my decision especially with a good chunk of change back in my pocket.
Amazed how the 2024 Camaro looks like a Mustang, and how the 2024 Mustang looks like the previous gen Camaro. Did they make an even swap of their design teams? I’ve always been a Mustang guy who currently owns an 2017 Mustang GT convertible California Special in Grabber Blue, but I have to admit this new Camaro looks so much better. I was considering a Corvette in Rapid Blue, but now think I’d be more satisfied swapping out my Mustang for this retiring Camaro as shown in this video.
I’m also sad that Camaro is going away to but I’m so happy I have a 2015 Camaro ss 6.2 v8 convertible official pace car 60 of 100 built been having fun cruising with the top down so glad I brought this car since there going away still it’s sad to c this happened to this car 😢
There are millions of Camaro fans. They aren't going anywhere. It will be back, just as we waited. Between Gen 2 to Gen 3, to Gen 4, and that long gap to Gen 5. It's passed down to generations.
It's sad seeing the camaro go but it would be sadder seeing it as an ev. Camaro is partly responsible for my car addiction in the first place seeing bumblebee in transformers 2007 and then ever since I was obsessed with muscle cars.
I'm sad to see this car come to an end. But I want to enjoy this review in the Rapid Blue with the graphics. The car dominated the 70s and 80s over those hideous Mustangs🤢🤮. Thanks Joe for showing us this beauty and of course Lori you are super awesome with the camera work!
And by the way, I improved mine with cat back stainless exhaust, headers, cold air intake, and did enjoy driving it, but when the C8 vettes came out I jumped on it, and am very happy I did!

Since the Challenger is being discontinued the Camaro sales should go up. Chevy should not cancel the Camero!

In 1967 the SS emblem was on the gas cap that sat right in the middle of the back facia, it wasn't on the trunk lid.

My dad and I used to work at the Javits Center and the best show of the year was the car show. It’s when we would basically work around the clock sometimes 18 or 20 hour days sleep for a few hours in a room and come back to work, but it wasn’t about the money. It was about putting the shows together and getting a first look at the car, the only thing I miss about working at the Javits Center. Back then if you help someone out get their booth together a little faster, you would make friends with someone and if you needed a car, they would tell you who to go talk to.
Believe it or not, I just traded my '23 70TH Anniversary C8 Stingray Coupe on a '24 Camaro 2SS Convertible. I bought a Black one with the Adrenaline Red interior. It has a 6 speed manual, Mag Ride, Dual Mode exhaust and the same wheels in your video.
Really liked the C8, but found myself getting bored with out the manual transmission. Happy with my decision especially with a good chunk of change back in my pocket.

Amazed how the 2024 Camaro looks like a Mustang, and how the 2024 Mustang looks like the previous gen Camaro. Did they make an even swap of their design teams? I’ve always been a Mustang guy who currently owns an 2017 Mustang GT convertible California Special in Grabber Blue, but I have to admit this new Camaro looks so much better. I was considering a Corvette in Rapid Blue, but now think I’d be more satisfied swapping out my Mustang for this retiring Camaro as shown in this video.
I’m also sad that Camaro is going away to but I’m so happy I have a 2015 Camaro ss 6.2 v8 convertible official pace car 60 of 100 built been having fun cruising with the top down so glad I brought this car since there going away still it’s sad to c this happened to this car 😢

There are millions of Camaro fans. They aren't going anywhere. It will be back, just as we waited. Between Gen 2 to Gen 3, to Gen 4, and that long gap to Gen 5. It's passed down to generations.

It's sad seeing the camaro go but it would be sadder seeing it as an ev. Camaro is partly responsible for my car addiction in the first place seeing bumblebee in transformers 2007 and then ever since I was obsessed with muscle cars.

I'm sad to see this car come to an end. But I want to enjoy this review in the Rapid Blue with the graphics. The car dominated the 70s and 80s over those hideous Mustangs🤢🤮. Thanks Joe for showing us this beauty and of course Lori you are super awesome with the camera work!
And by the way, I improved mine with cat back stainless exhaust, headers, cold air intake, and did enjoy driving it, but when the C8 vettes came out I jumped on it, and am very happy I did!
I bought a black 2023 Camaro ZL1, manual 6. Love it and your review of it helped me decide. I call her the Darknight.
