My old man used to say if Stanley Mathews was around today, heʼd cost you £250m to buy. My dad would regale me with stories about how he would watch Stanley go through six players as if they were a light fog. Terrific clip this. Thank you so much for your channel.

Matthews nearly always took the ball to the goal line to make the cross with his right foot but the German defence didn't seem to acknowledge the tactic! He didn't look for an England head either; he only focused on getting the ball into the penalty area and invited Lady Luck.

Your name is NOT British ... The British had a failing empier then, yet the "Immigrants" from that failing empier came to England to do the jobs that we did not want to do!. Thier son's and daugters grew up here worked and paid taxes here ... they became English as a consequence of "The Empier"
You would not say "what you have said" of Scotish, Welsh, Irish people who have come to England and lived worked here with there children becoming "English" ... You are a stupid/ignorant racist fool Diego !!!.
