Why is it when somebody dies that is close to john? The police has Luther as their prime suspect. When Zoe was murdered? The police had good reason to suspect Luther. But suspect him for DS Ripley's murder. I think they were jumping the shark.

My god series 1-3 were some of the best things ever on TV! Characters, conflict, depth, comic book levels of violence and great insights into psychopathology... The came series 4 and 5 with "me old sausage" lock stock rubbish gangsters and forgettable characters. Series ended perfectly in the 3rd season BUT.... I hold hopes for the film they are hopefully shooting this September! 👍
This season got out of control. No way in Hell would John kill Ripley or Mary. This was just stupid af. Made no sense and Gray should have died. I loathe her. Stupid plot line. Made me hate the show.
Gray was trying to make the police arrest luther cuz they don't believe he's innocent, it's said in an interview somewhere She dies on the last episode
BBC you have to do more Luther. its the best thing on television. it'd be a crime to end it. worth the license fee ten times over.

I love this show. But it's really very terrifying because the crimes are kinda more realistic, it's so dark but so good
