The Corrado G60 was and is a very cool 90's coupe, first seen in 1989, the first G60's into the uk was left hand driver. The G60 ended in 1993. This car belongs to John and after a full strip down, weld and paint looks amazing. Hope you enjoy the video.

I own a Corrado G60 of the first "shot" in 1989, love the G-Lader 1st Gen. and the incredible sound it generates. It's such a technical pearl of its presentation time, a true collectors choice.
Yep we'll never see another engine lie this again which is sad, my dream setup is a 16V G60🙏🏼
Great bit of film. I've had a Corrado G60 since new. j reg so 33 years old. Driven all over Europe . It's such a joy to drive and relatively cheap to maintain.

Corrado was and still is one of best coupe cars from Germany(middle class), G60 engine is still nice to have. My short opinion about Corrado and I still love it.
Totally agree the Corrado is a very underrated coupe

What a beautiful car,remind me of my old 88 Corrado G60
First car who knocked me of my feet in the sense of love and emotions for a car
I shed some tears when I sold it in 2002
Had it for one year but the memories of that car and the emotions I felt then still lives on today
Nowadays I'm lucky enough to drive around in an beautiful Passat R36
Still love the vw brand

Nice, I've still got my nugget yellow corrado G60 owned it 17 years! Its got similar mods, Koni coilovers, smaller pulley, stage 3 head, red top injectors, full supersprint exhaust, rally spec throttle body/manifolds/downpipe etc etc.... Very quick car, looks 100% factory from the outside apart from the ride height.

My future plans is to do a big valve, P&P head with a 1.9l bottom end and port match with the manifolds and TB.
Thankfully she runs sweet so no rush to spend a small fortune 😅

A G60 Corrado is my all-time favorite water cooled 'dub! HAVE to own one someday!

@@Indipino79 Thanks Jonathan! The first VW experience I ever had was test-driving a used G60 back when I was like 17 years old. I absolutely fell in love with that car, and the impact it made on my perception of fun cars has never dulled! I hope so, too! They are getting harder and harder to find in the 'states, though, it seems. I'm hoping my Mk2 Gti project will scratch that itch, at least for now!

Finding good ones are also becoming hard to find here in the UK. I guess that rarity adds to the romance of owning one!

nice ride. i wonder where did you get front spoiler lip? it looks bigger than normal.
It is a sweet ride, looks even better these days rolling on a set of B star 16" Sebrings😍 I'm no expert but these rado's came with a few different front lips, the early cars had bigger/deeper ones compared to the later ones, I think this one is a early type front lip.
