A method I haven’t seen elsewhere. Requires no other equipment, and it’s FREE (you’re not trying to sell me something)-which is probably why I haven’t seen it elsewhere. Giving it a try next time I need to record; thanks for posting!
Wouldn’t this limit the call recorded to the length of time your allotted to record a voice mail ? Seems limited.
The problem I have is the time on your message will be limited being your mailbox has a storage capacity , so how do you overcome that

I don’t know what went wrong for everyone else but it worked for me! 😁 and for the people saying it doesn’t record long, maybe try making sure your mailbox is as empty as possible 💁🏽 idk but it recorded for a while for me
It doesn't work because you cannot just simply record any portion of a phone call, on the spur of the moment. I don't want to record every call. I want to record when I need to and then NOT record when I don't want to.
This is not your phone recording itself. You need a separate app and you need to plan ahead. You may as well buy a two dollar regular tape recorder with a phone mic, like the police use.

Thank you. It is good that it is free. After a first listen, I would not though say it is easy. It might have helped if you had worked with another person: call that person and recorded him/her.
This is all great. But is there a time limit on these recordings bc we are technically using the voicemail feature as our recording device, right? Please advise. Thank you kindly.
Great if you’re initiating the call. But what if it’s an incoming call you want to record? Or record a call already in progress? A lot of times a friendly call takes a South turn and needs to be recorded. Anyone has any suggestions??
How would this work iOS 11 and up? Voicemail settings would be configured by carrier settings.

I have an iPhone 11pro max, my carrier is AT&T. Mine worked with all of the steps BUT after 60 seconds, the voicemail robotic prompter starts talking, and reminds me that I’m still recording and if I want to continue recording to press * and to finish my call to press #. which allows the other caller to hear her.
Tried it with my brother and he heard everything she was saying.
I love iphone ...but no recorder so iam buying a new android done...bze call recording is very important thing...now I phone is put in OLX
They apparently removed this functionality. There is no option 2 from the main menu anymore.

Hi I am new to Iphone I used android phones for years and this lockdown has forced us to work from home and we need call recording feature for work stuff but the method you shown in this video is not applicable here India we don’t voicemail services hence I think I will use the other alternative which is similar to yours I am gonna use my other android device and patch in with my iphone and then start the call

This doesn't work like you show in the video anymore. The recording system starts flipping out and stops recording when you stop talking while trying to call the second person.

After I press 2 my system say "start recording your message". Not what you say "enter the number you want to send the message to" any tip?

How come you’re required by law to warn the other person that the phone call is being recorded yet wiretappings are submissive in court and go without warning?

Most places only 1 party needs to consent to the call being recorded and you can consent your self 😭

When I press 2, it doesn’t say “enter a destination number.” It just immediately says “start recording,” and then beeps. Then when I follow the steps, it starts interrupting and talking over both of us, asking if I’m still there, and disconnects. What am I doing wrong, that when I press 2, I don’t get the same message that you get, “enter a destination number?”
When I go to add the call, it doesn’t do it it just goes back to the call to myself

Is there a way to record a phone call, while You're in the actual phone call already? I'm actually asking for a legitimate reason because, for example; I am on Worker's Compensation &, They ALWAYS call, unplanned/unexpectedly @ any time & from a 'BLOCKED' #. Therefore, I don't know that I'd like to record the phone call, until I'm in the actual call & the reason I do like to record the phone call, is for when I make My notes about theactual phone callimmediately afterwards, for future reference; to document whom I've spoken with, the date, the time, why We had the phone call & having an actual recording of the phone call to refer back to afterwards, helps Me to keep My documentation accurate.:) :) Thank You soooooo much, for Your Channel!!! I have an iPhone and I keep getting very disturbing international phone calls on a daily basis. When I block one number, I get another phone call from a different number and it never ends. Is there something I can do to block all international phone calls? or block certain countries?

If you don’t speak soon enough, it interrupts and starts over again so if there is too much silence at any time, your recording will be cut short and might be wasted.

$1 for 30 minutes
$5 for 2 hours and 30 minutes
$10 for 5 hours
$20 for 11 hours and 40 minutes
$50 for 33 hours and 20 minutes
ios 14, no options to send message! only options 1 3 and 5 under personal options

You must give consent for them to record you. Try it when people call and say we are recording for training purposes say I would love to speak to you but I give no consent to record this call. They will hang up . If not sue them . Laws due differ from state to state but most are 2call consent.
