The guys working out of that port definitely need a lot of rudder!
That would be scary, I have run bars and surf beaches, but in fast planing hull boats, you have more control of your position on a wave.

A non-boater here. How do you loose rudder control. Like, I wouldn’t think they’d break.
@@aquaman7356 No, you just lose steering, because the wave over powers your boat. It is a bad feeling to have your boat lying on its side.
