I used to refuse watching Tech deal as it feels like some well put together sale presentation. After watching a few videos I realize this is the channel with the best technical, informative, up to date and value-oriented content out there. Keep up the good work.
i agree he has helped me install and update my new pc effortless!
Linus is more of what you described IMO although his videos can be useful if you can filter the BS.
He is very well spoken
Same here lmao
Carlo Alberto I don’t really go to Linus for tech help, I go to watch for fun, I can’t take their videos seriously, unless of course Anthony’s there
He says: "In 3 minutes"
The video title says: "In 5 minutes"
The video length is 7 minutes

5:20 The BIOS boot menu is accessed before Windows, which is that White-On-Black background with the motherboard info you see for a couple seconds whenever your PC starts up. It shows the keys to access the boot menu, which depends on each manufacturer.
6:50 Something very important that wasn't explained here is that the reset applies to the "Hard Drive BBS Priorities", which means that if you boot from your SSD, you'll have to make it the first priority or else you get a boot\cmd error!
Please pin this, because this was a serious problem I experienced!
i'm following you for a few months and i think you are nearly a perfect channel for those whom is not speaking English as native language. You deserve more than these views.
You explain things in more detail than other tech reviewers. You always add the 'in between' processes too. I, for one, appreciate this. Other channels skip over sections, wrongly assuming their audience knows what to do.
totally agree
I dunno but there’s something calming about the way he explains things..
he looks like michael myers in a way idk why hahahaha
i know ryt? like ur not afraid to do these things with ur pc hehehe
I feel quite the opposite, I don't like his expressions and body language lol
@Once upon a time 😆
@Once upon a time that’s a bit rude to Christianity watch your mouth
Thank you for this video! I've been playing New World and it was shutting my computer down constantly, so someone said to update the BIOS. I was super nervous to update it by myself, as my friends told me to go get it done by a professional, just in case I bricked things. You laid things out very simply and I was able to do it!
I just built a PC and this was literally the lifesaver I needed! Thank you so much for this!
Im glad you do vids like these, got into it when risen came out and didnt know how for a long time.easy peasy now but not then
You’re the version of Scotty Kilmer that got into computers instead of cars

@@UraniumFever911 yes, you are absolutely right, yet he got all the likes :(

Solid demonstration as always!!!!! Keep up the Good Work!!!!
agreed
I used internet flash on 3 AsRock boards, worked perfectly every time,to me it seems the easiest and quickest way for bios upgrade,if the motherboard has the option ofc.
Thank you so much man! Feel like a computer genius doing this, when in reality it's really simple!
There's always an 80's vibe i would felt everytime i watch your videos sir. I don't know why.. Maybe because you look like an 80's person to me :)

One can notice that you have a new crew. Keep it going Tech, god bless!
Love your videos, they are so informative and professional in every way. Straight to the point with all of the important steps and solutions. Fantastic channel, keep up good work!
This video gave me the confidence to try it and I did, thank you!!!!
** If you have a Z690 Motherboard, be sure to check out my recommendations on our Facebook Page as to how to FLASH your BIOS, very SPECIFIC instructions - bit.ly/3UbEjwB
You're awesome dude! You helped me get my BIOS fixed and a bunch of other issues with a few other videos you've put out. Cannot thank you enough ❤😀
Just built my first computer and this vid was a lot of help. thank you
Thanks TD, never got around to updating my mb but did tonight. Cheers!
Alex so how was it?
I didnt expect it to be my exact motherboard. Cheers, seems straightforward.
Wonderful, you are the only CZcams channel that I trust the most for an important topic such as bios update.
Thanks again for your efforts to provide us this really useful update. You are the best
Here I am again, four years later, refreshing myself on how to update my bios. Tech Deals, your videos are timeless ❤
Be aware that as with my Asrock B350 MB, you may be asked to update to an intermediate version before jumping headlong into the latest. So, for example, you have version 1.3 installed. The latest version is 2.9. You may have to update to 2.1 minimum before proceeding to 2.9.
I was wondering if that was necessary. Does skipping steps brick things?
@@Kune35 most likely it is better to take it step by step.
@@Kune35 kinda yes
Along with checking to see if the XMP setting was changed, you might want to check the CPU clock(all cores turbo) settings after a BIOS update too. But I guess that depends on the motherboard's characteristics/manufacturer. Updating BIOS from Windows makes me nervous btw...I prefer to keep it at the mobo level process...
Great video. I always chicken out when it comes to updating the bios. When I built my Ryzen system (thanks to your videos/advice) I updated (panicked) the bios :)
The best of all ! Hope to see you soon sir!
Why are your videos always coming up exactly when I need them? Lmao, it's almost too perfect, have never flashed my bios so this was perfect.
Thanks! Helped a lot when I upgraded my bios for Ryzen 3600
Best tech channel on youtube. I am glad i found your channel. Cheers!!!
I still got MSI B250M Bazooka v1. 0 bios version :3 now finally some video that elightened me for weeks of searching, nice youtube algorithm I guess, good recommendation, so i can basically jump 1.0 to 1.7 for example and not update through 1.1 > 1.2, 1.2 > 1.3 etc. Thanks again tech deals, this channel is really helpful af.
I love your channel man. Keep up the good work.
Great video and very helpful for people who don't understand a lot about computers. I am sure this will help them tremendously. 👍
Great video thank you! Do I need to reinstall the drivers after the bios update? Thanks
Thanks for your confidence. I was getting memory leakage always on 20% now its a more stable 10% after I flashed my BIOS. I actually watched two CZcams vids on this just to be sure.
interestingly a nice guide.. quick and straight to the point without too much blabbering, compared to other guide videos i've seen lol..
Thank you. Very clear demonstration and very helpful.
The AsRock boards also tell you not to have your settings on OC mode before updating as well. Not sure how much this matters or not, but I saw this message on my own AsRock board as well.
Wow, this is actually helpful. Just kind of afraid of doing it on my own, but it seems fairly simple
Updating bios is actually the longest minute of my life.
Dude you have been the only person that has a biginers videos good job and even your voice is soft thank you.
Dude! Thank you for the help! You explain this so good that a kid can do this!
I just did it over the bios and it worked. Thank you. I have the asus rog strix b450 f gaming.
Thank you for this video, I'm going to update now without fear
I've been wanting to see a video about this from you. I love your tech videos above the rest of the other tech channels. You go indepth on you pc builds and just have a lot to say on the topic in general. Keep up the great work.
Such humbler times, thanks for the video I haven't done this in several months 😅
I remember recently when I was fixing up an ultra cheap gaming PC for older games. I had this one PC that was given to me that had an AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ cpu with 3 gb ddr2 ram and a GTX 285. Well, I was able to buy a quad core AMD Phenom x4 9650 for like $6.00 and at first when I installed it, the PC wouldn't boot or do anything, so then I figured to myself that I needed to update the motherboard BIOS to something a little more recent and its motherboard is an ASUS M2N-E. I then put the old cpu back in, updated the BIOS, then installed the quad core Phenom and now it seems to be working fine. I have it set up to where it dual-boots Windows 10 with Windows XP and both work fine on it. For gaming, it seems to handle any 3d games made up until 2011 to 2012.
Am having this problem and there were a few videos on this but his smile was so welcoming
A word of advice to new computer users. There is always a risk when updating bios. Especially if you do not have good solid troubleshooting and general knowledge. If a bios update fails it can turn your mainboard into a boat anchor. Use caution while doing this and if you are not confident, take the machine into a well known shop and have them do it. Cheers
Thanks but how would it be hard to do? I’m new to pcs and stuff btw
@@krishcurry65 dats what I'm thinking too
I'm trying to update my gigabyte x570 bios to support the 5000 series cpu but i don't need this Qflash bs i already have a working system and just want to update it from a file but i can't get a clear explanation on how to do it! lol
@@krishcurry65 it's not hard but if your PC randomly shuts down, if you hit the power button while updating or your power goes out you can brick your mobo mid update
Thanks tech might do this tonight
You are the best pc expert in youtube i love your videos and how you explain them. Keep up the good work 👍🙂
Best computer channel hands down don’t go anywhere else!
I like this channel and this person, explaining is on point and straight to the point
This guy is the best tech dude on all of CZcams. Love the channel!!
I guess 2nd to Linus? :)
Great VIdeo Thanks for this Crucial Info!
your videos have been god tier and have helped keep me informed from the very beginning of my pc journeys. stay beautiful
I know this stuff (like many of us in this channel), but it is so pleasant to hear this guy talk: coherent, no slur, logical line of thought, clear sentences, even in his ramble videos. He should work as university lecturer, because OH BOY some people there need to learn to talk... I live in a country where nobody can communicate and talk, yet they get angry when someone can't understand them. Especially in wok environment. You need to be able to understand and do things from a get go and people hate questions here. Sucks to live in a post-soviet country.
Thanks a lot man!
Was new to all these but with the help of your amazing video I successfully updated my BIOS.
Alhamdulillahi ❤️
Looking nice and cozy in your champion crew neck 😁😁👍🏽👍🏽 thanks for the information!!
You are lit up as if you were recording from paradise! 🤣
Been meaning to do this since I built this system a couple of months ago. My bad. Oh, another great video Sir.
You make it so easy bro!
Love your tutorialsss!
Love your content. Keep it up brother!
I have an ASrock Motherboard from 2017 (AMD something 370) and it allows me to update via internet directly from the BIOS -- that saves a lot of hassle! (I think you do need a wired connection), no need to waste time downloading the file, copying it to USB, etc.
Otherwise great video!
I would like to see you on a cooking segment with Rouge, making delicious home made recipes.
Just updated my asrock x570m pro 4 bios successfully. Thanks! That was kind of scary.
very straight to the point video..love you man..
Thankyou so much! I just got a new Ryzen 7 cpu and when i put it in my pc was boot looping and I was worried I broke something.. Updated my bios as you shown imwith flashdrive and BAM works like new! Subscribing
Thank you so much for this tutorial !🙌🙌🙌
Thank you very much for this you’ve helped me tremendously!! Even after 3 years or 2 of this upload ur helping people thank you know again.
you made that look so easy. thumbs up.
This made me more confident in updating my bios
Thank you for making this video - very helpful.
Great video, very easy to follow even for newbies to the BIOS :) Thank you.
Ever so Thoroughly informative.
Thanks that’s was a good and clear tutorial
Get this channel to 1 million subs already!!!!
Just wanted to say thanks for the tutorial!. i used to just skipped aside your vids, but after watching your review on the rtx 2060 cards. i find your content more informative. Taught me that "why " i should but this is way more important then just asking "what" i should buy.
thanks i was scared to do a bios update b4 but now i'ma see about doin' one someday
oh ok
Question... I know this may be a silly question but does installing the latest bios also install the features/key changes from the previous version or only the features for that specific version?
I'm upgrading my processor and motherboard..So what r the things to consider for BIOS and do I need to format my pc before upgrading?
Best video out here for first time builders
For the instant flash method, can I use an external hard drive with other data on it already or does it have to be a USB stick that's been formatted and contains no information? Thanks in advance!
This is definitely useful for new ones like me! 2 Thumbs up!
Honestly amazing vid man you just got a sub
Ive come to this video so many times for help, you'd think I would learn already....
I use to have that same computer! Upgraded to a far more powerful one when it broke down out if no where
Thank you! You helped me with that alot :)
Thank you soooo much dude 😁
I have a custom built 3xs pc. I recently updated successfully to windows 11. Is there any changes that should be applied to bios that can improve performance or are more suitable?
Thanks tech, just updated mine. If you could do an upgrade video for the 800$ cyberpower you reviewed two years ago, I think alot of us would benefit! What to buy and when to buy.
This is one of those videos of which I wonder why it didn't come a few years earlier. ;)
It is simple but it does a give a headache to new users and people who only had an OEM system before probably never did it.
Can you use an external HD to place the update file on? Or does it strictly have to be a Flashdrive?
Remember when you had to boot DOS to do this? Good times...
The usb type bios install on some new m/b is completed at dos level
I have a question does incremental updates necessary or should I just update my Bios on the latest one?
I updated my bios 2 days ago and everything is working fine, now do I have to reset the bios or leave it as it is? Like you said it could had reset to default when it finished updating the BIOS. My motherboard is ASUS H110M-A
Big thanks man. I've always been scared to update my bios but I have no choice at the moment, just installed an nvme m.2 & there's clearly some issues across the board & I've been told bios update will cure more than half. Still nervous but at least now a decent tutorial. Plus it's it's a cyberpower with an asrock board so that makes it feel more comfortable
Was your update successful?
@@TheFpsGoddess honestly I haven't done it yet, I wrote the board manufacturer to ask advisement in the old way or the new net way, what features would I gain & most importantly which exact update is needed. Also posted on their forums but no response. I can deal with the rest but I need the exact version
