Honest Question: is there a guide for each hero in terms of what to level and what not to level and to how high? I simply can't keep track of who does what and what their speciality is..

I'm considering this, has anyone tried it and did it work?
from what i've seen nebula really has the highest potential damage, even higher than what i've estimated due to all the abilities feeding off each others (nebula artifact, nebula autoattack/ascension 1st skill buff, isaac drones) allowing seb bonus damage become something like 10x of the crit damage (compared to ~3.5-4x with other heroes as 5th member). Problem is it really require goods manual play to get all abilities up, and rng for the meteors and crit ofc. Meteors can either kill off a hero, or hit "just enough" so seb/nebula can buff twice so more crit/damage.
Also I've seen some teams doing 3-4 corn ults per run but ganji did 6-7 per run. It's done by using martha ult during the wormhole phase (not the meteors phase) so heroes are just fast enough for another corn/seb ult there. If you can survive meteors without martha armor artifact then it's something to keep in mind. It's probably why he liked jet at first so he has armor artifact under meteors, but lately he switched to jhu and it also work (and it's probs more reliable crit rate than jet)
Last thing, other than what i mentioned in the last video comment, faceless can be a good 5th hero as well. Double the number of Heavy wisdom attempts, making him better than celeste (celeste's 2x artifact boost is only roughly 60% boost to cornelius ult)
The only upgrade that really matters is the first artifact, get that too high and it will not work. Any other upgrade is fine.
Someone said even for other heroes, if add too much magic defence and armor will affect the attack skills, want to confirm is it true?
why is level 130 too high for Isaac that is armor penetration ?
If I remmber correctly, this team was tested originally with lvl 100 Artifact armour penetration. So if you level it up to 130, which gives 1,57 times increase, you don't need that many artifacts stacked up for Cornelius to be effective. And therefore it shold be less of a problem to get less damage from the spheres

I don't think 25% crit chance with Nebula is accurate. If the Equilibrium ball is on Sebastian, his skills will put it way higher than with Celeste, definitely higher than Jet, and probably higher than Jhu as well.
Magic defense makes no difference at all. Osh's magic penetration is way higher than any hero can get without artifact buffs.

I have no sympathy for people who over level their heroes. Mindlessly leveling things with no consideration of why. My general rule is simple. If the hero is working then it is fine. if it is dying then it needs more. But if isn't dying anymore then it is time to stop leveling it.
I get what you mean by this, but it also misses the point. With so many things to level, how can you know when a hero is over-leveled?! Even researching online communities, there are differing opinions. Also… why would the game sabotage you by allowing you to increase your heroes beyond their peak effectiveness and why the hell would maxxing such heroes hurt you?!
@@Joshisgruven By maxing the health and defenses of a hero they are taking less damage, which means they are generating less energy and that can be the difference between them using their ultimate ability once in a battle or several times.
I regularly defeat teams that are 200k more powerful than myself. People who mindless level their heroes haven't taken the time to learn the game. The general rule i use for all my heroes (except tanks) is not to max out the third artifact, and never take the health or defense glyphs past 40. And I don't buy all defensive skins unless it is for a tank.
It is okay to max a tank, in most cases.
