    Rabbi, I’m a Christian who enjoys your insights on Bible stories. I think it’s crazy that last week I was just thinking about how this phrase could carry a greater meaning than an obvious statement that there is one G-D like you said. I’m happy to listen to your perspective on this matter.

    Rabbi Friedman, I write to say a big thank you, firstly to our Great and Almighty God, who created the heavens and the earth and all that exist in them. Secondly, for surrendering yourself too Him and allow Him to speaks through you, as a dynamic vessel and a voice for this season. As a committed Christian, who has a great admiration and peace, that our Great God is in complete control of this season and has been and will be for everlasting. So, I give Him thanks and praise for what He has currently orchestrated and is filling His purposes by it.
    Please continue to be steadfast and unmoved in the TRUTHS which you share, I believe they are divinely inspired by God.

    Question: We give a price to people, who are like tray-bearers.
    So what price does God want, Who is the true owner?
    The Answer: Yes, the price the True Bestower of Bounties wants in return for those valuable bounties and goods is three things:
    one is remembrance, another is thanks, and the other is reflection.
    Saying, “In the Name of God” at the start is remembrance,
    and, “All praise be to God” at the end is thanks.
    And perceiving and thinking of those bounties, which are priceless wonders of art, being miracles of power of the Unique and Eternally Besought One and gifts of His mercy, is reflection.

    Yes Rabbi Friedman I agree God is One, Creation is Purposeful, and his Will will be done he never fails ( similarly it's written that its impossible for God to lie.). We may be here today and gone tomorrow nevertheless his will, will be done. The blueprint was drawn up and implemented at the foundation of the Earth, before us. Whether we're aware/conscious of it or not, we are being driven by the Holy Spirit to comply and in accordance to God's desire his will is automatically being done on a deeper level,( in a place not of Earth where such preparation is taking place regarding what and who and how purposes are to be accomplished. Its not the usual Place People go to called Heaven. There's much work being done there telepathically of course. I was taken up to partake in such activities. In human terms its always difficult to articulate the Supernatural. But I've been trying to say this in so many words ( sorry I don't have the gift of speech) how important it is for us to seek Centeredness, to be near to the Center and not far flung into Space, everything in moderation, not too bright, not too dull, not too know everything, away from the extremes where you can be found, comeback to you that you may see his face. We Love you and will need to find you, we are a Part of the whole Connectedness of God's Creation between Heaven and 🌎. A Perfect Creation. Thanks for letting me share. E

      In this verse from Genesis, God was addressing His host of angels. When God dictated the Torah to Moses to transcribe as the first copy of the Pentateuch, Moses protested when God came to this verse: "Master of the Universe! Why are You presenting an opportunity for apostates to try to claim, God forbid, a plurality of the Deity?!" God answered: "Write! Whoever errs, let him err. Rather, let man take a lesson from Me to involve even his subordinates in any discussion about a (proposed) action that affects them." Thus, we are to learn humility and consideration from God's having consulted even those without a "vote" before creating man. The very construction of Hebrew is a disproof of the Christian Tri(u)nitarian theory: Every noun, verb, adjective, and pronoun in Hebrew has both a number and a gender. Whenever the Torah (broadly including the Prophets and the Writings; Genesis through Chronicles) mentions God's doing or saying anything, the associated pronoun AND verb are always in the singular.

    Dear rabbi Manis Friedman. Every time I ask a question no one answers.
    But, I will always ask because we must always seek what we need.
    the question refers to a vision I had after reading the Hebrew Bible in 2016. I meditated for hours what the ETERNAL vision would be like after reading Ezekiel's visions; and it became a request to the Almighty, every night before going to sleep, for megive this opportunity on behalf of my Jewish predecessors.until one night, a DARKNESS appeared in my mind, although I was not asleep and the street lights fully illuminated my room.
    It was scary because in the darkness there was also a silence so deep that it made my ears ring.
    after reluctant to leave this state, after a few minutes, I had another outbreak of that same experience.
    The question is: is the ETERNAL silence and darkness? Or is it that if I didn’t panic, would something illuminated appear even without form?

    The only interpretation of echad in this verse that does anything for me (AND MAKES ANY SENSE) is 'first'-- as in Hashem is first, or even better, put Hashem first. Echad is sometimes used this way in the Tora, as in the first chapter of Genesis: Yom echad: day one, not first day. Perhaps the reason it didn't say 'first' here and in the Shema (Dt 6:4) is that it would be disrespectful to this day and to Hashem to call them first, as if there is a second that compares.
    Zechariah and Alaynoo would then be saying that on that day (Yom echad?) Hashem will be [put] first and His name will be [put] first. To say that His name will be one is obviously meaningless. To say Hashem is one is only a little less meaningless. So it must be as I interpreted it above.

      @Truth Seeker I can agree with that up to a certain point, and no further. Past that, it goes against the halakha (Jewish law) in Mishna Chagiga Ch. 2:1. Do I understand you correctly when you are describing G'd as the christians do ???? a 3 in 1 type of G'd ??? a trinity or even more expressions ???? or 1 Person G'd who has more than 1 function ?? And who was G'd that visited Abraham and fought with Ya'akov before meeting with Esau ?? was that one part of G'd ?? Reading Bereshiet I see Creator G'd (bereshiet bara ELOHIM hashamayim etc) and later ... ve Ruach Elohim mereachefet al peni hamayim... the Spirit of G'd hovered over the water... and even later ... vajomer Elohim na'aseh adam be'almenu kichmutenu etc... let US make humans after our image... so a person G'd who looks like us humans.... and who may even be our blue-print based on whom we were shaped and who also talked to Abraham and fought with Ya'akov ???. But Moses says that we cannot see G'd and live... But who did Moses see than from behind ??? did G'd than somehow create an human like looking intermedium ??? for us ?? is that why this person G'd would be needing rest on the shabbat ???
    Sorry I have a lot of questions since this is a diffult subject. ... With what you say; are you saying that the christians may even be right ??? That would supprice, upset and confuses and many more things with me...

    How would you define Christ ?

  • @achildofthelight4725
    @achildofthelight4725 Před 3 lety

    God is a concept of worshiping something outside of yourself to be like... when actually you was made in an image of your parents desire to have a child in their image....
    Every parent does this, but not every image is the same.... in the beginning of nothing, somewhere man made a image and man followed.... until another, and another..... until.

    God and creation is ONE. TIME is what makes water flow. Everything we experience in this dimension is the consequence of time. God the creator exists outside of time, god the creation exists in time.

      @mikey6214 Před 2 lety

      TIME is the key, it’s beyond our comprehension to understand an existence outside or without time. Time is what separates us from the eternal god. God is it’s own creation, we are god creating itself. Time is the mechanism that created the universe as we know it. God is all-knowing, so how does god become all knowing? All was created so we could learn all that is learnable and return that knowledge/experience to god.

      If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? No it does not, something has to exist to hear it. God does not exist unless there is something else to experience god. We are that something else, here to experience god. Nothing exists if there is not something else to experience it. God as creation exists so that it can experience god the creator. God as the creator exists so that it can experience god the creation.

    Imagine if God has only the human to communicate. I believe God has friends like him to communicate at the speed of light with other Gods. The one God is invented by human Kings it is much easier to rule over his subjects.

    The problem is where you look from. If you look from above, you see everything. If your on the bottom you see nothing except yourself. But if you ask the observers from above whats going on and the best road to take, you get directions. Here we fumble around in our own thoughts and listen to generations of advice. The truth is that Gods energy creates us. The body is allowed to be created by man, hence it is not perfect. The soul is perfect energy that can grow in size and take on attributes. It can connect to higher levels of energy with shared attributes.
    Everything is connected. So we are parts of God that are sent to bodies. As we live, we can accumulate more direct energy into the soul from God which we would call truth. Indirect energy feeds the body. We can live a sensual life or a spiritual life, depending on who we focus. Ourself or God. God needs us and what is God needs itself.
    So life is like a sports game. You play or you watch. You play by the rules. Often the crowd that watches, takes the glory of the winning side as if they were responsible. In heaven, only those that take part earn points. If you dont try to connect, you dont grow. You cant piggyback into heaven.
    So acknowledging Gods oneness and understanding what that means, brings you closer to your truth of who you really are. We can choose to be an orphan or part of the family.
    Blessings
