good to see an update but sorry to hear the car has some issues. the most frustrating thing is, like you say, it's hard to do home maintenance on lights that are so hard to get at. 10 year old BMWs and Audis are just as bad in terms of their electrics playing up after a few years. my daily BMW is 8 years old now and currently in the garage as the traction control has packed up and a sensor is constantly telling me the brake fluid is low despite the reservoir being full. will you be looking for another 'weekend car'? what do you think to the Mazda RX8? I was looking at a rs Clio but now the rx8 is turning my head a little more.

Definitely going to be getting a new toy once it's sorted and gone. Maybe a convertible, don't know yet.
