I like to think that this Finn got posessed during either the aftermath of his breakup with FP or when he wanted revenge on his dad, the most vunlerable moments in his life

I like to think this happens in a timeline after Finn loses his arm. Maybe a version of the Lich that went into the multiverse during Crossover landed at a point in time where Finn was more emotionally unstable, probably about when he was trying to find and take revenge on Martin. He could manipulate events from behind the scenes so it seems like Martin is near, only for Finn to stumble across The Lich instead and ultimately fall victim to not just The Lich but his own grief. The Lich, wanting to cause as much despair as possible, then wears the skin of Ooo's greatest hero and begins coming for everyone who loved him one by one, starting with Jake and BMO. I like to think Jake died protecting BMO, and BMO sang for him in grief, which caused The Lich immense pain because of the harmonization just like it did with Golb and his creations and just like Jake did with The Lich when he possessed Bonnibel, which is the entire reason for the musical battle in the first place, culminating in BMO making a final stand at The MO factory after he and Ooo face defeat after defeat. Two "living" concepts clashing for the fate of the world.

funnily enough if fionna and cake shows us that bmo not only knows the lich but straight up calls him jerry, probably because BMO inst actually alive.
This is probably an alternate timeline where The Lich instead of skinning Billy, he skinned Finn. I also imagine this version of Lich instead of wanting to get his wish by Prismo he kills all inhabitants in Ooo
Just realized Jake's sprite MIGHT be a ref to the gorey 'The Enchiridon' title card lmao, cut arms, hole in stomach with stringy pink organs, and one eye completely removed on the right. Not to mention the open mouth of shock, pain, and agony.

I like how the soul parts give off a kind of 'Here's The Plan...' feel, like they're planning with BMO on how take down the Lich.

SPOILER WARNING
bmo is the only one left because he technically isn't living and the litch managed to successfully kill all living beings, leaving only bmo isolated and alone, where in this he's being tormented or whatever.
i cried when in the episode he was asked about the others and he said “they are around”, that hits hard.
Maybe he and The Lich came to blows initially before both eventually just began to talk. The Lich would obviously not find BMO to be a threat after a certain point, and BMO would pick up on the fact that "Jerry" is miserable and without purpose, all alone, just like BMO, two machines with no purpose. BMO can't Be More with nobody around to protect and make happy, and The Lich can't cause any disorder or strife, two lonely sapiences. BMO would sink into sad delusion, and Jerry would sit and wait for either a purpose or the end, which ever came first.
In a weird way, this kinda predicted BMO and his "friendship" with Jerry as seen in Fionna and Cake.

Damn dude, this went from "The best cover of Triple Trouble" to "The best version of Triple Trouble," the atmosphere is so creepy and dim and the change from the Sonic sound effects to Adventure Time's synthetic beeps, incorporating The Bear's ominous warning, the screams, The Lich's voicelines being more clear and being more menacing than hus last ones while his voice is a terrifying amalgamation of his and Finn's, the sounds of battle in the background. It's fucking amazing and that refrain while BMO is fighting with Bubblegum makes me feel like I'm ascending. This is to Triple Trouble what Bold or Brash is to Fight or Flight, absolute 10/10 bruh, keep up the good work.

Okay, Ice King's section sounds so much more grim than the first iteration in certain places, it really captures both the Ice King and Simon - also the beat being composed of what I think is Gunter's wenks is absolutely perfect.

I liked the V1 because it had the atmosphere where as if Lich was actually there. (I'm exaggerating). But V2 makes me think that they are somewhat fighting back or something.

Absolutely an improvement from V1, The Lich sounds a million times more menacing and this feels like a proper “end of things” type of vibe the songs going for, you being the only thing left in Ooo to destroy.

what does jake say when he joins in with the lich at the end? i feel like it's a line from that episode where he gets brain damaged and theres a deer, but im not sure. all i can make out is "my body" "celebration" "but i have no control"
its a reference to the jake suit episode where jake is saying finn is in his body so hes pushing his brain out his body making him have no control

Probably my favorite version of TT of ALL time. The apreggios used through out the song are like this set of tribal taikos, constantly banging. I also absolutely love the design of The Lich here. What makes it stand out among the other triple trouble designs is that it feels real; like it could exist in the show!! Awesome job man!!
