Today is my 7th full day of not smoking after more than a decade of smoking almost every day, and I am so grateful to Jesus for saving me from my worldly self destruction.

The only question is , is Jesus real ? She is from another religion and worships lifeless, heartless dead stone idols, but would rather not idolize the one true god who paid such a heavy price and died such a gruesome death for her. She would rather love the devil and be a sinner than love her true saviour.

When you put your trust in Christ it means that you do not rely on yourself and your own strength to be right with God. Jesus said his yOke is easy and his burden is light, if we submit to God and resist the devil he will flee from us. You might ask well how do I submit, my response would simply be this, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. If you are struggling with sin, stop praying that God would help you to stop sinning and start praying for God to help you love him Above everything else in your life and once you put him first and submit to him obedience will naturally follow. Lastly Jesus said this

I discern that this young lady will not walk in the ways of the world much longer. Her profession of faith is right on her lips. Ray was right on time with the gospel. Praise God.

@C B1983 Stop judging? For one judgement is a necessity, if u think other wise then u must not understand what judging is. For example if I see a girl and I think she is pretty, that is judging her, is that wrong? Is it wrong for me to acknowledge her beauty? And 2 who exactly am I judging here?
Jesus absolutely existed. That is undeniable, but she just has to do the research. It's everywhere.
Sadly most of this information is super filtered I've tried to find physical evidence online but you have to dig deep to find anything.
@@quantumleap4023 I believe God has a way of judging people who never hear the gospel in it's purest form. He has written His laws upon EVERY heart and even has a plan for those who are in the most remote areas. (Romans 2:14-16) speaks about the gentiles who never have read the law, yet it is written upon their hearts to condemn or excuse them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 "But even if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them."
I really believe there is a spiritual block like a benevolent spirit either around her or in her is stronghold has been putting lies in her mind
I love Ray comfort but what I would have done right there and asked if I can pray for her as humble as she is I'm sure she would receive the prayer then I would bind the spirit of deception off of her then I'm sure she would experience the evidence of Christ in her spirit

I used to teach his classes and my students would share their experiences with using way of the master
One time I did it and the Holy Spirit led me to ask about the Man's father and how he had anger and hatred towards his father. I normally do the stealing line blasphemy and adultery

Some people, like this young lady, need additional confirmation from outside the Bible that Jesus existed, and we have that. I wish Ray had also pointed her to that evidence.

@Obey the Primates. First of all, please let me say my heart truly breaks for your ancestors. I have cried tears when I see pics or hear stories of many people's lives. We do have to know though, that just because someone holds a bible, does not mean they follow it. Most that don't, only hold one up for others to see and to appear to others that they are servants of Christ, but behind closed doors, are demons. God will deal with people like that. Sometimes, even here on earth before they die.
You have misinterpreted the story about the Egyptians. God chose Moses, even when he was a baby. Pharaoh learned there was to be a child born that would grown up and be a leader, so feeling threatened of his power, he ordered ALL the Hebrew boy babies to be killed at birth.
This same story is repeated when Jesus was born. Mary and Joseph had to flee from Herod until Jesus was two.
Moses' mother put him in the stream to save his life from being killed by them. You know the rest, of how Pharaoh's daughter found him and loved him as her own. He was a prince.
The Egyptians weren't following God. They had MANY gods, made idols, etc., and weren't serving the One true God. The Egyptians had the Hebrew people as slaves and worked them to death. They cried out to God, and God heard their cries.
God selected Moses, since the Hebrews were His own people. Meaning, they followed the One True God.
God gave the Egyptians many, many chances to change and let His people go and to turn from their pagan worship and serve the One True God, but they didn't. God sent plague after plague, and nope, they weren't going to do it. God's people didn't have any of the plagues, they were protected. I love the scripture where they had light in their dwellings, when darkness fell across the land.
God sent one final plague. Death of the first born male. He instructed His children to put the lamb's blood over their door. When God sent death, He protected the ones that obeyed Him. The ones that served the One True God. This was representing Jesus' blood. Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb of God that shed His blood to save us from eternal death and fire.
God gives us chance after chance to change and turn from our junk we do, and when we don't, sometimes He allows something extreme to get peoples attention. It may seem harsh, but the bible clearly explains how these things are brought upon ourselves by letting curses into our own lives, or opening the door for the devil to enter in and destroy it. I could give many examples, such as, fortune tellers, living together while not married, etc. Things God is clearly against.
Some servants of the bible were also ones that worked to pay off their debts. They didn't have bankruptcy court back then to wipe it out. :) Jesus even tells a parable (Matthew 18) about people that have their debts forgiven, but they turn around and can't forgive others. When we ask God to forgive us of our sins, He expects us to forgive others, as well. It's so important to Him, He says if we don't, Our Father in Heaven won't forgive us.
The bottom line is God expects obedience. He provides air, food, clothing, and life for us. He has even provided a way we won't pay for our sins in the lake of fire, He sent His Only begotten son, Christ Jesus that took on our sin and gave His life for us. All we have to do is love Him, turn from our sin, and follow Christ.
Many times people say "What kind of God lets babies starve or die?", or other examples, but He has provided help to each and every one, and that help is each one of us that shouldn't ever let it happen. Cities build huge stadiums for football that costs multi millions of dollars. That money could have gone to make sure every person had proper shelter, food and clothes, but it never does. We aren't stepping up enough to prevent the bad things happening.
This is the LONGEST comment I have ever written (haha, and probably anyone else!!!), but I wanted to answer your concerns the best I possibly can. Please understand that people are bad, God isn't. I will close with a scripture that I got part of my first post from. Please just seek Him and you will find Him. Once you find and know Him, you will never be the same. Jesus and the devil both want our soul. It's our choice which one we choose to have it for eternity. Please don't wait until it's too late. We never know what day we won't be here any longer. I'll pray for you and hope to be your sister in Christ, very soon.

You mention Noah. It took Noah 120 years to build the ark. That means, that while he was building it, and people were seeing him build it, and Noah was telling them the flood is coming, they had 120 years to change from their ways and live for God. They didn't. If they had, there would have been more people on the ark. If all had, there would have never been a flood.
The same with sodom and gomorrah. Abraham kept giving a number, 'If this many and this many, will you save it?', and God kept saying, yes, but there wasn't. Lot even offered his daughters, not so they could rape and attack them, but to be a natural union between a man and a woman instead of unnatural barbaric animal acts, but the men chose to remain wicked.
You speak of slavery, but in Exodus, it even says that "If a man sells his daughter to be a maidservant". People were selling their own daughters to make money. God actually was trying to set guidelines, that if you kill the servant, you will be put to death.
God brought the people OUT of slavery. What did they do after that? They complained, built idols, and turned to the ways of the Egyptians, when God had set them FREE FROM BONDAGE.
Being in bondage hasn't ended. All of us have to pay taxes, or be put in jail, pay house taxes each year, or a person loses their house. Even when you go to work everyday, you 'work' for people that own the business that are better off financially than you, to make money. If you go to 'work', you are serving, or are doing a service, for that person or company, and receive money for your time there. Some, still today, at some places, work for room and board and food.
You mention how God 'created' evil. There was no evil in the beginning. God created satan as a 'beautiful angel'. He was even over music in Heaven. But, 'he' decided that he wanted to be god. He was so good at convincing everyone to join him, he even convinced 1/3 of the other angels to join him in rebelling against God. God cast them out of Heaven. The lake of fire were created for them, not people, but, people are still joining him and causing themselves to be thrown in there with them, by being rebellious to God.
Adam and Eve had it made, it was their choice to go against what God told them to do and not to do. God even had to sacrifice an animal to cover them. Blood represents life. I'm sure after they disobeyed God, that even the air they breathed was different.
You have an enormous anger against God. I can write and write why you shouldn't, that people's actions bring all this upon themselves, but it will be your own choice to serve Him and to be obedient to Him, or not. He could have just made us all robots and everyone loves Him, but He didn't. We all have our own mind and choice.
You act like God just took amazing wonderful people out in the flood. God gave them ample time to change. God says they were wicked. Only God knows what they were doing and thinking, not us.
Just as a loving warning though, God won't tolerate your anger against Him forever. I do sincerely hope that you quit listening to the devil because from what I can see, he's winning your soul at this point and time.

"The case for Christ" (2017) movie based on the book by Lee Strobel or the book itself is incredibly informative! All about an investigative reporter's/journalists quest to disprove Christ existence, death & resurrection
All of his research only brought him to the truth, he gave his life to Christ, left the Chicago Tribune & has been a pastor (& author) at willow creek community church since the early 80's
I would definitely recommend this movie or book to anyone looking for "proof"

As a child I believed that the Bible was the word of God and that Jesus was my savior .In 1988 I was drinking a fifth of alcohol a day . I knew that there was more to life than I realized but I didn't know what it was . I had a wonderful girlfriend , we raced motorcycles , we went to bluegrass festivals and did whatever we wanted to do . I realized that I had everything the world said was happiness but I felt something important was missing and I didn't know what it was. I tried scientology , all kinds of yoga, martial arts and various other disciplines but nothing satisfied me . One Sunday morning I came home drunk in a taxicab and waiting outside of my house was a man who was giving my roommate a ride to church. I had gone to alcoholics anonymous for six months and they helped me a lot but I had gone back to drinking .He invited me to sit in his car and talk. He asked me if I wanted a bible study. I said I would love to have a bible study . He came on Monday nights the only night of the week that I didn't drink. It was a 12 week bible study that went from Genesis to Revelation. He showed me in the book of Acts ( Acts 2:38 ) where it said repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost . I said I'd never seen that in the bible and I wanted to get baptized in Jesus' name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I got baptized in Jesus' name and prayed for two months to get the Holy Ghost. The night that I got the Holy Ghost I was praying and I started to talk in tongues , I felt wonderful and GOD delivered me from the spirit of alcohol . I have never wanted to drink since then and I praise GOD for that.
. The man who gave me the twelve week bible study taught me a ' GODHEAD ' bible study twice but i didn't understand the oneness of God or the trinity . I was reading the bible one day and read Ephesians 4 : 5-6 that i had previously highlighted in my bible . God gave me the revelation of oneness . ' ONE LORD , ONE FAITH , ONE BAPTISM , ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL , WHO IS ABOVE ALL , AND THROUGH ALL ,AND IN YOU ALL !
JOHN 3:16 IS JUST ONE VERSE : YOU NEED TO READ ALL OF CHAPTER THREE TO UNDERSTAND JESUS' PLAN OF SALVATION !

@@Rosie05610 That certainly dies not mean we should not have evidence of Jesus's existence. In fact acts says that Jesus showed them many proofs so clearly even Jesus knew the value of evidence.
When she said she's been looking lately to prove Jesus is true, I would have said, "Well He just sent me to talk to you today, didn't He?" God orchestrated this meeting. When I point this out to people who make comments like she did, they are always impacted by that. God bless.

Yes, and many many others. It is unbelievable the amount of extra biblical evidence for Him. Also the NT is 27 different accounts about Him. People make the mistake that the Bible is just one book when actually it is a library of 66 books.
Nick _7 people think it’s a made up fairy tale all written at the same period of time like a Harry Potter book. This is a collection of the worlds history. Best history book of all time! Not to mention it’s the only book that God is speaking out of.

Pls pray for me. I have difficulty trying to prove the existence of God but I still have full trust in God. I just really want reasonable answers so I feel doubtful at times but I'm still keeping that trust. So basically I just want to continue trusting and remove doubt

Lord save your child!When we have a headache,we don't see it,we feel it.though we don't see God physically,we know he is there,we feel him.Blessed are they for we walk by faith and not by sight.
It really is true what he says about everything looking different. God is still changing my heart and my ways, but when I first accepted Jesus in my heart, it truly is like everything looks different. The same colors I’ve seen look the same, yet different. My home looks the same, yet different. My perspective on things changed and I was thinking differently. Worldly things I would never pay any mind to, I was now giving a second glance at and knowing it was wrong and offensive to the Lord. I was terrible with cussing and had a horrible way of expressing myself. I used the Lords name in vain every day without even realizing it! God took that spirit away from me and now it’s hard to even utter a simple cuss word. It’s amazing what happens, and like I said before, He is still doing His work in me. But now I could never go back to my life and my ways before Christ. I’m getting baptized on July 28 and I can’t wait. God bless ✝️♥️
