PCT 2024 Day 2: Cold Springs

6/28 Day 2 - I hiked slowly today taking lots of breaks. It was in the 80°s today. I had to go .6 round trip for water. I enjoyed listening to the book Thirst by Heather Anderson/trail name Anish who set the fastest known time for womens self supported record. My favorite quote was her mantra: "Calories in miles out" -Anish

Some of their names were: Frozone ( Mama Zone and Papa Zone = The Zones), Avu from BC/Burner
Rose: Beautiful views of Mt Lassen and camping with Hattie
Thorn: Sore right foot on the outside edge. I think it is because of where 2 fabrics come together.
