Dig It.. Larry Graham Played Bass And Sang At The Same Time With Sly And The Family Stone From 67 to 1970 And Solo With Graham Central Station In 1974 Way Before Jermaine.. Bless Them Both..

Thank you family, but Larry Graham was not famous when he was with Sly and the Family Stone. And what song did Larry sing and play bass on live all by himself with Sly, because I have some shows on them and I didn't see it?????? And I know all about Graham Central Station, but again Jermaine Jackson was the first famous singer to play bass and sing at the same time all by himself live, i.e. I Found That Girl; Bridge Over Troubled Waters and other songs all in 1970 and 1971. Thank you so much for your knowledge fam. Peace.

Yes..., You're Welcome Bro Indeed.. There Is No Footage Of Larry Graham With Sly ATFS To Be Seen To Show Visual Proof, But Graham Played And Sang On A Few Solo Tracks In The 1968 Live Shows That Are Audio Only.... Graham Was Indeed Also Very Famous With Sly Because He Was The Innovator And Inventor Of The Slappin And Pluckin Style Technique Back Then That No One Was Doin At That Time... Listen To Thank You Fo Lettin Me Be Myself Again From 1970... There's A Track Called " Let Me Hear It From You" Also Color Me True, That They Did Live That He Sang Solo!! Listen To Hot Fun In The Summertime, And Dance To The Music.. Everybody Is A Star, Graham Is Singing And Playin At The Same Time On These Tracks In Sections. Check Out Some Ed Sullivan Footage From 68 - 1969.. Plus Graham Played Bass And Sang At The Same Time With His Mother In A Combo Group Before He Joined Sly ATFS... There's Soul Train Footage With Graham Central Station On Soul Train In 1974 As Well.. Jermaine And His Brothers Were All Influenced By Sly ATFS.. Listen To The J5's First Lp With Them Doin "Stand" And I Want To Take You Higher... And The Fact That MJ Ended Up Owning All Of Sly's Music And Publishing.. ---- Soul And Peace And Be With You Brother... Rock On!!

@@BROWNSOULxxx Thank you brother, but I see you don't see what I'm saying. Everything you said about Larry Graham, I already knew. I know all them songs, brother people knew and tripped off of Sly Stone not Larry. All the stuff you're saying about Larry playing with his mother is stuff you found out decades later from Larry, and again nobody didn't know Larry until Graham Central Station! Mike even mentions Graham Central Station in 74 on the Merv Griffth show. The whole slapping and plucking is another subject matter that can be disputed as well. And there is a lot of people including Sly's brother who said that's Sly doing the bassline on a video of all them in the studio listening to playback of Thank You For Lettin Me!!!! It's on CZcams. And there are others who say that's Sly Stone playing the bass on Thank You For Letting Me, And the Jackson 5 was influenced by The Isley Brothers, James Brown, Tempts, Staple Singers, as well as Sly Stone. Again Jermaine was the first famous singer to play the bass and sing songs live!!! But Peace Family. It's good to see that you dig some real good music!!

Brother Carlos... Yes, I Hear What You're Sayin But I Know My History As Well And I Have My Opinion In What I Have Been Around In My Travels, Feeling And Thought. Those Songs Sly Wrote With Larry Graham Featured As Well As Rose, Cynthia And Freddie Were Not Adlib's.. An Adlib Is A Spontaneous Feeling Of Emotional Singing Or Instrument Playin In The Moment On The Spot In Where You Are At, Not Written Lyrics That Are Written For The Lyric Of A Song. Those Were Legit Lyrics To The Story Of The Songs... This Is Deeper That What It Is, I Appreciate Your Post, And History, Jermaine Is An Unsung Incredible Dope Bass Player I Agree Indeed, But There Are Elements Of History Before That Existed In The Making Of What He Ended Up Doing, Playin And Singin At The Same Time.. I Appreciate Your Passion, Great Photos And Footage And Being a Conduit To The Masses Knowing About The History And All... Peace Go With You Brother, Keep On Doin What You're Doin, Don't Stop!! All Soulful Blessings...

Aw man this video is a gem. I knew this was gold even before you got into the 5 things. I was going to comment that my father toured with the Jackson Five before they left for Motown and at 1:35 you actually have the flyer with my Dad's group and the Jackson Five! My Dad was in The Radiants; his name was Maurice McAlister and their most known song was "Voice Your Choice. Also I actually have an original copy of the picture you shared at 1:53 of the Jackson Five at Chess Records. The name listed at the bottom was the Radiants and the Jackson Five's tour Manager Luther Terry. My Dad told me they did the Chitlin Circuit in the Dallas area back at that time. I wish I had've wrote down all the stops. Also my Dad wrote Etta James song "Only Time Will Tell". It was featured in Jennifer Lopez's movie "Angel Eyes". ❤You just made my day.

On March 1, 2006, Jackson died at a home in Gary after being stabbed by his girlfriend, Yolanda Davis, following a quarrel. Davis was later pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Johnny Jackson wasn’t really related to the Jackson 5. They said that as a marketing ploy.

Cut it out!!! You didn't listen to what he said. He said FAMOUS!! Larry Graham wasn't famous when he was with Sly and the Family Stone. And what song Larry Graham sung live on before Jermaine Jackson? None because he led no song with Sly. Sly Stone was the man in the group.

    Impressed by the Jackson Five?
Look up and read what them, and their father did for fame: it's in the book written by Darren Cubie - called:
Inside the Chi-Lites Music, it will shock you.
5¶And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. LUKE 4:5-7 It's true.
