Not a great actor for butthead but the other guy definitely pulled off Beavis very excellent.
Judge himself has said before that more people have a better time pulling off beavis than BH
The biggest problem is that he wasn't ugly enough to be Butthead.
The second time they were in the show (Halloween episode) they replaced butthead with another actor. He was even worse.
I agree. That guy really got Beavis down. Albeit some of the jokes were very slightly off for B&BH. Like I absolutely believe that B&BH would stand outside a lingerie section and watch the mannequins being changed, but I don't think they would actually say it. When they do say things, it generally involves breaking stuff.
Also Butt-head would never correct someone for mispronouncing his name. The joke of people never getting getting Butt-head's (it's actually Butt-head, not Butthead, but no one seems to care!) name right is based on a real incident of someone on TV either accidentally or deliberately saying their names wrong and it has been a running gag in the show ever since.

Butt-Head did try to tell Bill Clinton that his name was Butt-Head when Clinton mistakenly called him Bumhead. Have you ever that episode where Clinton came to their school?

Probably. B&BH cameos were quite common in the 90s. They even showed up on the Tiny Toons cartoons.
@@Hotshotter3000Yes. Beaver(an actual beaver) and I can't remember what animal represented Butt-Head, or what his name was. They got flattened by, iirc, a school bus.

True. But remember, this originally aired on ABC'S TGIFriday, or whatever it was called. Though there were slightly risque moments here and there, it (TGIF, and it's comedies) was pretty much considered family-friendly programming. This aside, good point!
If Beavis & Butt-Head Do America had been a live action movie as planned, these two would have nailed the lead parts easily!

I don't know. These two guys were trying too hard. Kind of spastic. When you get right down to it, Beavis and Butthead are actually pretty chill, and only occasionally get worked up about dumb shit. The Beavis guy seems to think Beavis is ALWAYS Cornholio.

Two regular guys who happen to just look, act and have the same names?Or are they actually supposed to be B&B from some other dimension who somehow got catapulted into the step by step universe? @@gh0stcrz978 Sure they did alright I guess. But back then *everybody* was trying to capitalize on B&B's success and unfortunately a bland, tame family comedy is simply not going to capture the "bite" of these characters.

How is it that these guys, brought onto this show as a joke, more accurately portrayed their characters than any actor in a big budget movie based on a cartoon or video game? I mean, they write this bit as a joke, and these guys pretty much nailed it, but some studio decides to make a big budget movie based on a cartoon, and the people they pick never really look or act the part.
"There are no small parts, only small actors."
This is the perfect example as to why there was no live action movie. And there ALMOST was one made. It would of been worse than this

Man, two opposing worlds crashing together in an explosion of total cringe. This show was the antithesis of B&B. The fact they tried to co-opt its popularity for a 3 minute segment of cheap…. laughs??? Just kinda gross. If Mike Judge ever saw it, I’m sure he was rolling around laughing at how utterly terrible it all was.
