Picked mine up last Saturday. Shoots so nice. Had no problems with mine. I put on the pinky extension. I love this gun. Finally got my hands on one. I’m sure you will like this gun.

I really want the canik MC9 I heard nothing but great things about this gun and it also had a few issues also too but over all this should be a great gun hopefully soon I can get one too.
I bought a g26 for my edc. And ended up getting the mc9 so I could have something else in the rotation. Absolutely love both of them. Canik knocked it out the park with this one imo.😎
I am unashamedly a Smith guy... However, I really like most Caniks as well. I was excited for the MC9, hoping for a solid "backup" recommendation for people who don't want Shields. This wasn't it. I'm back to the SIG X-Macro or G43x as backups to the Shield. I found that I prefer the Hellcat and GX4 to this one. My only positive for this one is the trigger... Canik trigger, but not on par with TP9SF or SFX, but still better than most micros. I will be shooting it again in the future, to see if it improves with round count, as many others do... But I felt underwhelmed initially, because of the hype around it's release.

It is! I can’t wait to shoot it because it’s so different when live firing it. I changed the backstrap already, going to throw an optic on it and go from there! Nice choice!

Canik said that all that space to get to the wall was intentional because they wanted you to be sure if you were going to pull that trigger. I've been wanting to upgrade the sights on it but not sure which ones to get (video maybe?! 😂) The Holosun 407k fits beautifully on it without any adapter plates. I bought this for like $440 out the door. Great buy!

Fair enough! I didn’t say dramatically I said it’s too heavy like a xd for example. But I don’t mind that at all. That helps with shootability. I wasn’t taking down at all. Just an observation

Most people say the hellcats too snappy but if you train with it and build a muscle memory on what to expect then you’ll be fine. The size, aesthetic appeal, the quality etc you can’t beat it.
Yes I like that it is thicker than the average micro 9, makes for a great grip. The larger backstraps feel awesome as well. I would now move the ergos to a 9 since I made the video!
Would you please considering making a video that shows this with your Glock 26? No one out there has a video comparing them! I get that it's a different size class, but it'd be interesting to know if the size difference is worth it if you own a 26.
Canik makes such an attractive package. Reliable, shoots very well, the best out of the box triggers for mass manufactures alongside Walther and Grand Power, very reasonable pricing and they give you a nice kit with any of their guns. Though my only complaint with the MC9 so far is that the larger mags dont fit flush with the backstraps, until Canik starts selling mags that fit proper flush so that it doesnt leave a gap, i found a guy who makes mags that do: czcams.com/video/wjDkvBOp-3g/video.html

I'm running this Canik as my EDC. The trigger is nice and crisp. The slide is a little stiff but getting better. It's a nice lil gun.

It might be dramatically too heavy rn but rn you have 0 rounds in the mag SPN that might chance things a bit also maybe a light.
