Orthodox jews say that Isaiah 53 was not refering to Jesus. That's why Jesus cried: "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing..."
However, God won't stop at their stubornness, I think one thing why God love them is right this thing.

When G-D commanded Israel at Mt Sinai, to keep His commandments, JC was not there nor ever mentioned to Israel. People come to G-D all the time, without JC. In his hunger JC sinned, when he cursed a Fig Tree out of season (contrary to G-D's command). He could have blessed it, that it bear fruit for all - out of season. But he was hungry & that would have been a true miracle. JC sent his disciples, 2 at a time, to villages. One a witness & the other afflicted. JC only healed one person at each encounter. Deuteronomy 13 eliminates Paul's gospel & no Pharisee would quote the Greek Septuagint over the Hebrew. Paul mishandled the Hebrew Scriptures impeccably.
