Thanks for not having any background music so we can hear the actual noise level.
Rick Deckard thanks for the feedback! Trying to do a mix of videos, but i’ll try to do at least one raw riding video of each scooter as it can be informative.
I have never seen so many people on electric vehicles...
Yup, we got large group rides out here in SF. Where are you from mate?
WeAreElectric Romania one of meetings >>> czcams.com/video/DTDc8nc3MNk/video.html
I second that, wow, a lot of dudes on the ev stuff.
coppers over here(Australia) would be be chucking us all in the divi van if we where whizzing along at such speeds😊 without a licence.
Speaking of speeds, that little scooter motors along nicely, how is it lasting? any thing wearing out?
I needa get out there with you guys next year! Message me on insta @kelvinshiftz
Thank you for making POV rides that have actual audio of the full scooter, and ride, with minimal wind noise.
Bravo, subscribed.
Thanks for the feedback, always like to hear what people are looking for :) Some of my newer videos are in a similar format, but also with some light editing, like the Kaabo Mantis one. Curious to what you’ll think of those.
As much as I enjoy riding alone, that was so cool with all those e vehicles together... Looks just like the future...I think the 10X/ Lightning will be my next one. I have the Dart now. Also, I'm 62 years old...
Yeah, super fun riding with a group for sure. The 10x/lightning would be a great upgrade for you! Never too old to ride, and I'm glad you're getting out there! It keeps you young. ⚡️💪
@@AlienRides that and my twin sons who are juniors in high school...
I'm reviewing this video because I want to purchase the zero 10 vs the 9 but I laughed seeing you guys go through traffic like motorcycle riders, I found it hilarious 🤣
😅 we do sort of get caught up in the moment at times and ride a bit recklessly with a big group. These vehicles definitely get you around a city much faster than a car though. The zero line of scooters is good, I always tell people to get the biggest scooter they can if the weight is not an issue, more scooter = more fun. Cheers and safe riding.
@@AlienRides thanks, I'm sold on the Zero 10 I will be picking one up soon.
Reckless not in the least you guys showed plenty of skill maneuvering smoothly around traffic , thanks again 😊👍🏼cheers
lovely place
Thanks, it's awesome riding around San Francisco. Cheers. 👽🖖
superb, bravo....
Wow,very quiet 🤫 I like it
Another great review! Brother! X
U know ur way around pretty well, nice
Yeah, we ride the same route pretty often so it's easy. Nice seeing you again. 👽🖖
It looks so cool :)))
They are! And super fun to ride.
Awesome
Scary fast
Taking delivery on my Turbowheel Lightning by October! Can't wait! (Stem creaks FTL!) Thanks for the real world experience with the raw vid. I second another video on different locks and theft deterrent for scooters!
Look into lithium grease for the folding bits to fix the stem creaks. You're going to love your scooter, it's great!
Wow the stem really likes to creak!
Yeah, this was before I knew about lithium grease which helps a lot. They also have a reinforced neck clasp now which does a much better job!
Fantastic road to drive Electric Scooter. I drive my electric scooter in Norway 2500 watt each wheels 5000 watt together 60 volt 30 AH LG battery. I love my scooter. Nice video 👍😊
Sounds like you got an awesome scooter you are enjoying :)
yes my friend i love my scooter. But in Norway it is not allowed to drive over 22Km / h to sit is not allowed. I drive with a seat. Oh I drive as fast as I want. But I have great respect for this scooter. Spent time getting to know it. Now after two months I'm pretty good. My top speed measured with GPS is 66Km / h it's fast. But it manages 100Km / h in gear 3.
Ordered my ultra today. Should get it by next Friday. Can't freaking wait!!!!😄
Awesome, I'm sure you're going to have a blast on it! Keep me posted on how you like it.
@@AlienRides yeah after riding the speedway for so long definitely going to have to get used to it. Might have to start off a little easy LOL. Probably going to feel like a rocket compared to the speedway. I ordered extra tubes and all new headlights so I can keep everything on my Speedway. I'm finally getting the scooter that I wanted to get from the beginning. Now I'll have something that I can put my own custom touch to. It's funny how it worked out. All my new lights will be coming the same day as my scooter and quick charger. I'll keep you posted.
@@AlienRides I'm going to need to order me those carbon pegs so I can put some multi flashing rear lighting. Do you know where the best place to order them from?
@@jpoorr9973 I recently ordered a pair from CarbonRevo for a video coming out soon. I like their products :)
@@AlienRides I'll have to check out their website. I'm definitely going to need those. Where are they located at?
I recognised at the start some buildings of watch dogs 2 by the water front, cool scooter
Paul Bridgeford impressive memory 😅 I’ve never played but should check it out.
How stable would you say this one is at higher speed? I saw your handlebar wobble a little when you were going over bumps. Those landings scare me from moving from m365 to something faster.
I think that this is actually a pretty good upgrade from the m365. I'm also a heavy guy, 200 lbs+, and put a lot of force on the handlebars. There's a little bend in any handlebar stem which is normal, and it could also be my body moving to make it appear that way.
Overall though I would definitely get something a little faster than the m365 if I were you, doesn't need to be this model, but it could be a good bet. (You could also look at the Zero 9, or Zero 8X coming out later this year)
I wish you had more on the zero 10x. Patiently waiting mine to be delivered and watched you zero 10x vids a good 10 times so far! Lol give me more jk
😅 Thats good to know for future videos, thanks for the comment. I was only borrowing the 10X from RevRides to make a few videos on, in the future I'll request to borrow them for longer, or buy them outright so I can make more videos. Hope you get it soon, it's a really fun scooter!
Same here 😂
I’m waiting for my loaded up 10X that I ordered from REV RIDES last week. Should be here in NJ September 1st. I will ride my Wolf Warrior and Zero 9 until it arrives. Can’t wait!! Please do more reviews on the 10X Please!
This is on my wishlist, riding this in traffic jam would be perfect.
There’s no better feeling than passing cars that are stuck in traffic on a scooter.
@@AlienRides if only they were all electric cars already, so you didnt even have to deal with the pollution they put out while theyre sitting there
Turbowheel Lightning is the same as Zero 10x?
Yes, they are the same scooter just with the different branding. Both are great, consider pricing and support of both before purchasing. (I always have information in the description of where I recommend buying). Good luck with your purchase, you're gonna love it.
i bought this scooter a few weeks ago upgrading from the segway scooter i bought at costco and boy is it faster and funner!! love it but i can already see wanting more power in the future.
Awesome, congrats on the purchase, it's a super fun scooter for sure. The power of these scooters are definitely addictive, but I'm sure you'll have fun on your 10X for a long time still. Look at some Rion videos if you want to see some crazy stuff though.
@@AlienRides i literally just found a company on Alibaba that sells the exact scooter for $710.00 and i just paid $2,000!!!!!
Jason Olinger don’t worry about it man, you probably purchased through a reputable dealer that will provide you with warranty. After tariffs, shipping and customs fees the alibaba scooter might not be much cheaper in the end.
@@AlienRides
with shipping and customs it's a little over a grand lmao
@@AlienRides if only i could find the Rion for Chinese pricing.
Hi! I have
zero 10x love it. But I notice the suspension rattle noise, when I lift the wheel of the ground it's got a bit of play. Is anything I can do ?
Thanks.
Hmm, you'd have to see where the play or noise is coming from. I bet you can fix it, but will need to diagnose and replace or tighten parts. Hard to tell from here unfortunately. Good luck!
Buen trabajo maquina, mucha calidad ,sigue a si amigo,un abrazo.
Wow amazing 👌👌
How did it do up the hill, I noticed it was cropped out from 2m30s to only the downhill part.
nextdoorwarren it did pretty good, but I think there were a lot of pedestrians in the way and we went slow which is why I cropped it out. I should definitely do some more hill tests with it!
very nice ride!!! what camera you are using?
How many miles did you do on that ride
Akmak probably did about 20 miles or so. Some people will do 30-40 no problem, I’d need the bigger battery and fast charger to do that.
Hello. What do you thing od maike kk4s? I am on dileme shoul i buy zero10x or maike kk4s
Hello! I have never tried the maike scooter yet. They seem fine, but the zero 10x is more popular I believe. Personally I would recommend zero, but that's only because I've never tried Maike. Good luck with your decision.
I noticed that your newer videos you have the durotron X. I live and work in SF and im looking to purchase a daily commuter and something to have fun with on my days off. Would you recommend the durotron over the turbowheel? I dont want to have to purchase a scooter and then sell it to get the other one. im hoping you can just give your opinion on what to purchase.
Hey, both are great scooters. I personally own a Thunder, and have a lot of fun on that and the DTX. For me though, the thunder and DTX are too large to commute on, I don’t have a big enough space to store them at work. The 10X and Speedway V would both make for good commuters I think, but are still heavy. Have you been to LastMile in SF yet? I would definitely go there and check out some scooters in person if you can.
Alien Rides thanks for the fast reply! I contacted lastmile this weekend. I will probably stop by this week.
Hey another thing that could help when using a scooter is maybe get a bike horn called, “Loud Bicycle” it really powerful and loud sounds like car horn.
Slim567 definitely agree, important to be able to warn (or scold) cars who might not see you 😬
Alien Rides Right seen videos on how it used can really be a life saver.
Sweet scooter. Want to buy one. Question. The site claims 40mph, but haven't seen one go faster then 34mph. We're they getting that number from
Maybe the new 60 volt version. It should be able to go a bit faster since this is only a 53 volt model. It’s nice, you’ll like it if you get one.
Zero 10x sub brand from turbowheel lightning or turbowheel lightning rebranding zero10x?
Good question, actually both are rebrands from a Chinese scooter called the T10-DDM from Unicool/Titan. Both are solid options, so go with whichever you think gives you the best warranty/value.
Does your zero 10x steering feels tight when it is brand new? Because I just got mine and steering does not feel free turning like my mercane widewheel.
Hmm, like when you turn left and right? If so, tighter is better than loose there, that's going to give you more stability. I think all of these scooters do have some forward and backward play though.
@@AlienRides so far mine does not do forward and backward play, but the tightness or I will say it is kinda like sticky when you start to turn, and that sticky feeling does not feel normal when riding, I seem you have riding all different kind of scooters, so just wanna ask for your experience. Thanks for reply.
how many kilometers will it travel on 1 charge? there Vit 18 Ah battery
Чтобы помнили for me, I think about 50 km or so, but I am heavier and ride faster. Get the larger battery if you can.
@@AlienRides do they come with different batteries? and what's the 1000 motor ?
Yes, you can get 18ah and 23ah. 800watt motor watch nominal, means 3200watt peak power total.
@@AlienRides I so want bitratrate thunder but it is expensive and he needed me so powerful
It sounded like a handlebar track all I heard it was a new soundtrack for handlebars listeners
Haha yeah, definitely should've used some lithium grease on the folding areas for this video. I just didn't know about that fix.
great ride! really speedy, looks like a very nice scooter. I've never tried a scooter. Thanks for your video. steve
Thanks for watching! If you're free one weekend come over on a Saturday and try a scooter out, I think you will enjoy it! I'm finding that I'm starting to enjoy all kinds of PEVs these days, each one has their own quirks and things that make them fun.
Loved it, totally awesome, no music was a big bonus, you are so lucky to be able to ride out like that, here in the UK, we are not alowed as its against a 1830 odd law which states no motor vehicle on the pavement, and if on the Rd you need a licence and insurance, which no one does. Its a joke. Keep them coming and what do you think of the zero 10,?
I really hope that the laws in the UK change soon, electric vehicles just make too much sense to save the environment and move people around cities to keep banned. Zero 10 looks like a solid option as well, I unfortunately haven't tried it myself yet, but hope to in the future.
So many bossy laws in the UK. How can you stand it?
no laws about this here in iceland exept cant go faster than 25 km an hour but nobody goes after that anyway
Did you experience any wobble on the stem when you rode at high speeds?
Nope, but I've never really experienced the wobble that people sometimes get on scooters. I believe you can generally avoid it by leaning forward to keep traction on the front tire. People also mount steering dampers to help this also and I've started mounting them to my personal scooters.
For the speed that your using, is that set for MPH or kilometers??
The display throttle was in MPH here. The 10x is a pretty fun scooter, not the fastest we've ridden, but fun!
5:05 Damn... that unicycle is FAST!
Yeah, for sure, some EUCs can go almost 40MPH. I wasn't gunning it here, but I think over a sustained distance the 10X can beat them though.
@@AlienRides can a dualtron 3 beat the high end EUCs?
Jason Kastendieck the Dualtron 3 should generally win, but my new euc can do 40, but it can’t accelerate as fast as the Dualtron 3. Lets race and find out when you get yours :)
I just payed £471.11 for a brand new zero 10x unbranded electric scooter from eBay. I love it and what a steal of a deal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Damn, that sounds like a crazy deal. Congrats and enjoy your new ride!
@@AlienRides thank bubby. Can you help me I'm trying to find out what size dnm shock fit the front and rear of the zero 10x scooter. Also do you know where I can find accessories for the zero 10x scooter . upgrade like the Steering damper ect. 👍🏻
Show me around SF dude!! We can ride scooters haha from Fresno area, never been there been wanting too!
Join up for a baesk8 ride sometime.
Hello mon ami que pensez vous de la qualité et puissance zero10x vs speedway 5 ? Qui est la meilleur merci a bientôt
I think they are similar quality wise, but for speed ultimately volts win.
10X = 52V
Speedway 5 = 60V
What a great place to ride a scooter....and so many people doing the same. Great video mate. Quick question: do you guys have to have some kind of insurance to ride these various vehicles over there..??
Yup, San Francisco is an awesome place to ride. I don't think we have any kind of insurance requirement yet, and very few companies offer it right now. I see that changing in the future though.
@@AlienRides I think you're right. Here in the UK it's still (believe it or not) illegal to ride these scooters on the road 😔😔..!!
How long does zero 10x battery last until it dies completely and needs to be changed. Also what is the price for new battery for this model?
You'll need to contact either FalconPEV or some local resellers for a new battery - but IMO don't let the price of the battery deter you, these scooters can generally last for several years, and I doubt the battery will be the first thing to fail. As for range, it really depends on the right weight, hills, and other factors. My recommendation is to get the 24ah battery, which should let you drive for 25 miles or so very aggressively.
Alien Rides Thank you for the reply :)
Does this go up hills? I live in a hilly area
Yes, this one, and most dual motor scooters, should be pretty good at conquering hills.
Nice footage!! BTW, what scooter is that girl riding infront of you at 2:22 - 2:30?
I believe that's the LunaCycle Apocalypse scooter. I'm not sure they make them anymore sadly, they seemed like great scooters.
Who's the girl riding the scooter! .....I wanna know any girl that rides a scooter! Lol x
Great to see so many others on Electric skateboards, scooter etc.... Is that the norm where you are?? Getting my Zero 10X in a couple of weeks, think my M365 is going to be redundant :)
Martin Amott This was filmed during a group ride of mixed PEVs where we get 50+ riders.
The M365 might be useful for short hops, maybe to a local restaurant or movie theater if there are any near you :)
@@AlienRides I'll say this was an amazing site to see, jaw dropping, what country/city is this?

SF used to be a beautiful city. It always looks nice from a distance or going by fast. The thing is you can't see all the homeless and shit on the sidewalks like that or smell the stench.
I know because it's my home town.
exacly same situation, also switching from M365 and same thoughts
Hello! Is the 10x the same scooter as the Turbo wheels Lightning? Thank you.
Yes, same scooter and specs I believe, just different branding instead of going through FalconPEV.
@@AlienRides Thank you for the super quick reply sir.
Wow! Incredible to see all the people out for a ride. Is that legal in the US? Riding on the road like that? Just wondering..loved to see SF again on YT. Would like to go back ;-) One final question: what is the squeeky sound in the background?
Hey - so generally it's legal to ride in bike paths and the road, when we do have large numbers though we tend to skirt those rules a little bit, it kind of just happens with large groups, but we should be better about sticking to all of the laws. The squeaky sound was actually my scooter stem, I need to add some lithium grease to it to stop the squeaks.
i found an reinforced clamp for the front so you dont have that squeeking and kracking
hello Alien Rides. kaabo mantis basic model 17ah battery or zero 10x 23ah battery which is the fastest? one has more amperage and the other has more voltage
You can also get a 60 volt 10X as well depending on who you buy it from, then it's the same speed as the mantis. Both are great scooters though, depends on what you are looking for.
@@AlienRides it was just a curiosity, voltage vs amperage. I have no possibilities for either 52v or 60v 😅. I am waiting to receive basic mantis, it is much cheaper than the 10x in europe
mario miranda the basic mantis sounds like a great choice! Enjoy it!
I have no use for a scooter this fast or beefy, but oh my do I want one
Yeah, they are overkill for a lot of people, but wow they are a lot of fun. I personally own the monster scooters just so I can go out and do joyrides with them.
good night friend the page you recommend is reliable I have a xiaomi m365 scooter and I am in New York but to go around the city and go to work is very slow I would like to know how reliable is that page where you recommend to buy the scooter now that in new york there is no physical store thank you very much
Hello, yes the page I recommend is quite reliable, and I think would provide you with a solid scooter and great customer support. I think you would find a fantastic upgrade to the m365 there!
Salut mon ami je regarde tes vidéos en france je voulais savoir la hauteur du guidon de la zero 10 belle beau paysage !!! Merci
Just under ~1 meter from deck until top of stem.
How do you go about locking up the Zero 10X, 8X, etc.? What kinds of locks can you use? If you can, please do a video on how to lock up the different types of electric scooters. Thank you!
That's a great question, and definitely something we should include in each video in the future, thanks for recommending it. I don't have the 10X right now, but I believed I mostly ran a cable lock around some wire/brake cables. Not the most secure, but worked for me for short trips.
It's cool to see a lot of people in their own PEV. I wish there are more PEV users in my country. But I think the speed is too fast for an electric scooter.
Thanks for the video, looks great. I was wondering if the Zero 10X suffers from punctures? I only ask because my M365 became intolerable from continuous punctures and the solid tyres were impossible to put on. Also, are Tubes and tyres easy to replace? And what would you say is a genuine range for a heavier rider in dry conditions with no wind or inclines in both echo & dual motor settings?
Apologies for all the questions but I can't seem to get or find a straight answer to these enquires.
Thank you.
TheLKline yeah, great questions, but unfortunately it takes years of ownership to really know the answers. Maybe have not had any issues with punctures, I never did, but some folks are unlucky and get punctures. I don’t think it’s too hard to swap out the inner tube though. Range varies a lot based on rider weight and hills. Personally I recommend getting the bigger battery, and if you’re smashing on the throttle I would expect you could get 25-30 miles with it.
@@AlienRides Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate your honesty. I'd be more than happy with that range as the M365 failed miserably when it came to manufacturer claims; I was getting 8 miles from a full charge with only the occasional punch of full power. And with the rear tube puncturing on a weekly basis, the scooter just ended up collecting dust in my garage. I should point out that the punctures weren't the result of nails, glass or thorns etc sticking in the tyre, but the tubes perishing - essentially melting - from the heat generated inside the tyre. It's a shame though, because the M365 is a decent little scooter that jus requires a few tweaks.
Thanks again.
I too am bored of punctures on my M365, ordered a Mercane wide wheel, coming in 2 weeks I hope
@@thelkline7079 high quality tubes are advised, lack of power uphill is my other complaint, I am 100 kg
@@Soulboy63 Hi David, I ordered 2 of those puncture resistant tubes for the M365. They were very good quality - really thick rubber, so I was hopeful it would solve the problem. But unfortunately they both went flat in just over a week. Its the heat generated inside the tyre, it just perishes the side walls of the tube until the rubber is so thin that small tears start appearing. Puncture kits are obviously useless because the entire tube thins an cracks materialise everywhere. I can't believe they released the Pro version without tubeless tyres. The M365 has a bad reputation for punctures and yet the manufacture does nothing to address it on the mark 2. Doesn't make any sense to me.
Nice video man, keep up the great work 👌Some say this scooter does 40 but its no where near that, im 160lbs and fastest i have gone is 34Mph
Yeah, I think mid 30s is more realistic for most 10X scooters. The 60 volt version might go a little bit faster. Fun scooter though, hope you have fun on it!
Plenty fast enough for this geezer, tho 😷
i am 100 kg and my zero x takes me easily to 65km an hour or 40 miles little tuning and i got it to 75 km😀 but got little hot so i took it down again
MalcomZX hello!
Speedway = 60V
10X = 52V.
The voltage makes quite a difference in speed and acceleration. For pure speed the speedway does win, but I think the 10X is still a fun scooter. Speedway 5 can go faster than 65 I think, maybe up to 72 kmh or so?
la 10X et la speedway 5 vont a la meme vitesse, la speedway 5 a juste une meilleur acceleration
anybody which is better escooter zero10x or mantis pro..
It's hard to say, they are probably pretty much comparable as long as you get the 60 volt 10x system these days, otherwise maybe the 60 volt mantis might be a bit faster? The 10x is going to be a big bigger/heavier, and might be nicer for long cruises or off-roading?
the crack crack on the steering wheel..... I hate it on mine as well . its the first thing ill custom
upgrade
Yeah, I think the upgraded stem clamp helps quite a bit there? Hope you get it figured out!
That creaking noise is driving me nuts! I do hope the new clamp has sorted that out
What do you prefer duratron x or your zero 10 x what are the similarities and what you don't like about the two and what is better on the 010X that isn't on the duratron x
I unfortunately don't own either, but I've ridden both! The Dualtron X is basically twice the size of the Zero 10X, with a little bit more power as well, it's truly a tank. The Zero 10x is a lot more manageable size and weight wise. If size, weight, and cost isn't a problem, I'd say go with the Dualtron X. Otherwise the Zero 10x is a lot cheaper, smaller, and more portable.
@@AlienRides and one more question soon I will be getting the nanrobot d6+ can you do a review on it thx
Pizza forever I would love to check out the nanrobot series someday, I’ll add that to my list of things to review, thanks.
how many miles on a charge?
There’s a new 60 volt version that will go a bit further, maybe 30 miles or so.
do you know much about the kugoo m4 as I cant find any videos in English
I don’t unfortunately. Specs seem ok, but a little wary of them if they didn’t get any PEV reviewers to take a look at it. Would be interested in trying it some day.

I'm hearing some creaking, was that from the stem?
Yeah, fixable with some silicon grease I believe, but we did have a freak with it during this ride unfortunately.
@@AlienRides ok thanks appreciate it!
The creeking noises where are those coming from?
The stem. After making this video though we discovered we could fix that by applying some lithium grease to the folding mechanism.
@@AlienRides oh... Normal machine oil won't do?

Hello! Can I ask you something? I made my first ride with zero10x 60V today and I feels like my front wheel is sometimes doing his own thing. It's like its not stable, going to the left or right without me steering. Everything is tightened good though. Is it normal or is it me? Don't know if you can understand or relate to what i am saying. 😛 I just don't feel stable on it bc of that. 😕
I sort of understand! Normally this is because of rider stance. Typically you want to have one foot near the rear of the scooter, maybe on the little ramp, and one foot near the front. When you accelerate you need to put weight on the front foot, and lean forward, pushing forward on the handlebars at the same time. This is going to make the front wheel have more traction, and hopefully more control. Try that out and let me know how it goes. Good luck!
Thanks. It's also during riding, but I must admit it is already going better. I just have to get used to it, I think. :) Also, with a full battery I drove about 32km on eco and single motor. 50%off-road. It was windy. I weight 63kg. Is it normal that the battery is low that fast (I had one battery bar left on my screen). I expected more with 60 V battery. So I wanna make sute nothing is wrong with my battery.. Any thoughts?
Sarah P hmm, the bars don’t mean a whole lot unfortunately... Voltage is really the best indicator, you can go down to 49 volts (when you have a max of 66 volts or so)
Just checked. I still have 57V but only 1 bar. That doesn't seems right then? I don't dare driving longer since i know the battery isn't supposed to be fully empty..
Sarah P most likely one of the settings is off. There should be a setting which tells it max volts, which it uses to display bars. Unfortunately I don’t have the 60v unit or manual so I’m not sure which setting. Check your manual, or person who sold it to you. Good luck!
How does this compare to the new boosted rev? I can't decide which one to get!! lol
So two different use-cases really, this one is much heavier, about 30 some pounds heavier. BUT this one also has much more power, you'll get another 10mph out of it easily compared to the rev. Kind of depends what you're looking for, a smallish commuter with the Rev, or an intro monster scooter with the 10X.
Alien Rides thanks so much for replying. So I will be using it for a 2 mile commute in the morning and 2 miles back in the evening. I’ll be taking around campus and into office buildings. I’ll be taking Caltrain as well so I’ll be lifting it up and down a few times a day. I know that the boosted is lighter but for the price I’m concerned it won’t be as much fun as the turbo wheel. The range on the turbowheel sounds amazing for weekend adventures in SF. Really torn on which one to get.
such an easy choise, pick this one
why can't we have cycle lanes opposite roads in the uk. we will be able to get to places we want to go to then.
I really hope there's a better view towards PEVs in the UK soon, along with good road infrastructure.
The future is here. I mean, over there.
Hah, hopefully it's everywhere soon.
Hi why zero 10x is very shack on normal road
Why is it shaking a lot? I'm not sure, it could be the angle? Overall I find the nice bouncy suspension to make it a very smooth ride.
How to join your group? My zero 10x should be here by this weekend or early next week, once i get used to it, I wanna join you guys for Saturday run, I live in cow palace area, wanna test out the range of my new zero 10x.
Congrats on the new scooter purchase, the Zero 10x is a really fun scooter! Definitely join us for a group ride some time, you can find us at: www.baesk8.club
@@AlienRides thanks and hope to see you guys soon.
Is the Zero 10x much more smooth and cushioned than the Ninebot Max? I have some back pain (herniated discs), and I wonder if this kind of suspension would help. Cheers.
Yes, a dual suspension scooter like the zero 10x is going to be a much more smooth ride for you. I would highly recommend it!
@@AlienRides thanks Alien, your quick comment much appreciated! 🙏🏼
Would you say Zero10x 52v +upgrade to hydraulic brakes, worth 1500 dollars? Take the deal? 60v is more expensive... Does it worth to have Hydraulic with 52v anyways?
@@rbmanb seems like a decent deal, looks like that goes for 2,200 new. I like hydraulic brakes, and worth it in the 52 volt.
@@AlienRides Took it. Haha. Yeah, prices are good here in Taiwan (:
Will have it here in a week.
Please What's the name of the electric scooter in front of you ?? 4:34
Deep ❶ hello, that’s actually a scooter by lunacycle, the lunacycle apocalypse I believe. I’m not sure if they are making them anymore, but they are decent little scooters.
@@AlienRides Thank you !! Funny how i wasn't into electric scooters at all before but 2days ago i've tested a very basic one (Xiaomi m365) and now i want to buy a Zero 10X hahahaha i think this is my new favourite hobby 😅😅 Do you recommand me to buy a 10X for my 1st purchase ?? And if you know how and where in France i can get it please ? Thank you

Deep ❶ scooters are a ton of fun for sure, welcome to the hobby! I think the 10x is a great choice for a first scooter. Unfortunately I’m not sure of the best place in France to get them.
That looks like the Speedway 4 to me.
Hey man, would the Eye throttle that’s found in Dualtrons work with this scooter?
TriggeredScream I have not tried it and don’t know the details of soldering the Eye throttle, but I believe it should be possible! Hoping someone who knows the eye throttle details better can chime in though.
Alien Rides ah , hopefully , other than that would you say this scooter is fast? Or decent
Definitely, I do think that this scooter is a nice one. Although it doesn’t have the eye module, the module it does have is quite nice. I also like how it comes with a key module as well, which I think I personally like better than the fingerprint sensors.
For performance it’s plenty fast, but not super insane at 52v. (Higher volts in other scooters may give you more tip end speed). Overall though this is a great looking scooter and a nice package.
What are you riding now?
Alien Rides thanks for the replay! I had the inokim OX realized its a toy and I want a real machine now.
TriggeredScream I think that this scooter would be a great upgrade for you! Definitely consider it. If you do end up getting it, using my discount code in the video description could help save a few bucks. Good luck with your purchase.
what do you think about speedway mini 4?
Solid little scooter for sure. I think it could be a really good option for commuting or getting around town. It's not going to be a speed monster like the Speedway V, or as fast as the 10X, but more portable than most. Could be a good option depending on what your typical use is.
Dont listen to him. I have 2 mini4 scooters one for me & one for my wife . Every 100 miles you need to fix everything.
hey what's up buddy? I'm getting ready to order my ultra probably tomorrow. When I do I'm going to order extra tubes off eBay from the same seller that I bought my tire and tubes from for my Speedway 4 Pro. I was just wondering if you knew anybody with an Ultra with the street tires which are what I'm getting on mine. I was curious about the wear about how many miles they get out of the tires.
I know a few people with Ultras, but I don't know how many miles they've put on their tires. I believe you can put several hundred (or even 1k+) and be totally fine. Next time I see a buddy with an ultra I will try my best to remember to ask them.
The dude on the AT board with blue wheels. What board is that?
What time stamp? I’m guessing it’s a Kaly NYC. I’m not sure what wheels he’s running though, but I can find out.
04:51 have not seen that deck before. maybe diy?
@@azylent I think that's from www.kaly.nyc/ supposed to be a great board.
Do you prefer zéro 10X or speedway 5 .
Hard to say. 10X if I wanna have fun, jump off of things, and do wheelies. Speedway 5 if I’m looking for a lil more speed for the 60 volts. Really depends on rider style!
zero 10x = off road
speedway 5 = on road
Any trick to disable the speed limiter ?? maximum speed with limiter and without? thank M!
Deivii Dleon for the 10X? I could be wrong but I don’t believe there is a speed limiter. Top speed is likely 32-35 mph depending on rider and conditions.
You want more speed?
Get a motorcycle.
Alien Rides there is speed limit wire. And I don’t know how to disconnect them. I can see video only by doing it with scissors. Right now a beast with max 25km/h :(((
Hey, did you check all of the settings? Max power, 100%, mode 3, dual motor, and turbo? (Turbo button should be up, opposite of dual motor I believe)
Alien Rides yes everything is fine but the speed wire 2 white/grey wires. So I thought there is a video how to disconnect them. Don’t wanna use scissors because I don’t know how will be with warranty. Maybe in USA it’s not but in Europe it is.

You can see it here.
Stem squeak fix silicone lube spray
Yeah, didn't know that at the time, but good tip! Lithium grease also works.
wow very nice to see a lot of riders using EVs... this is the future now. Also your city has a lot of space to ride
Yeah, PEVs are definitely the future! This was shot during our weekly group ride, which is a ton of fun and a lot of people come out for.
@@AlienRides definitely envy you i am living in a city without this kind of spaces
How much maximum speed my frend ?
There's a new 60 volt 10x that should top out at 40 mph or so. It's pretty nice! 👽🖖
@@AlienRides Thank you :)
Wow so many people cool ..
San Francisco is a great place to ride! 🤙
Are you going full speed at 1:50
Yup, I believe I was going full speed. These have gotten faster since then with the 60 volt versions though.
Great video
How don you unlock the speed?
There are a few videos of people cutting a grey wire, but I’m not sure. Also make sure you have:
- speed mode 3 on the dash.
- dual motor pressed down
- turbo mode, pressed Up (these two are reversed)
I love that I'm becoming one of the many electric menaces to society......as they see it......may start a club out here on the east coast. ... Hells Electrons...
Yesss, our numbers grow! Not sure where you’re at but there’s a few groups on the east coast. At least one in DC and NY, definitely start one if you can’t find an existing group though, it’s so much fun.
Alien Rides
And if you keep passing cars in the bicycle lane, what do you think the authorities are going to do next?
Hats off to you for a great POV of riding this thing, and I hope that this type of transport will be accepted by society as a replacement for most cars.....but...
if it’s to be accepted, riders need to be smart about how they might be perceived, or reacted to, in public. A car driver ‘should’ be aware of what’s in the bicycle lane, but most would not think that some type of transport in that lane would be going at the speed you were. Also, pedestrians walking down the footpath (sidewalk) are unfamiliar with these scooters. Let’s not give them some reason for the authorities (once again) to need to restrict such type of transport.
I’m lucky enough to live in an area where I could ‘test’ a scooter like this without any concern for others, so I’m guessing you don’t have that option.
Either way, I do hope that electric scooters, like electric bikes, start to dominate the type of transport that a large portion of this world needs!
P.s. I’m going to also add this comment to all watchers in they hope they take on my understanding.
What battery do u have ??
This one was the 17ah battery, but I recommend people upgrade to the larger battery option, 23ah I think?
@@AlienRides thx I want to buy this scooter but im like idk which what choose. But I see this video and think I will go to the economic one, thank u
good video )
worlukk thank you! 😊
There is no rain in SF, no??
:)
Rain is pretty rare, and I think the weather here is great. Sadly it's been raining lately, but I'm still finding pockets of sunshine to make new videos :)
@@AlienRides send these pockets to Ireland buddy
Alien Rides, very nice! I'm a little curious. Pro's & Cons - how does the _FalconPEV Zero 10X_ stack up against the _Dualtron Thunder?_
So I have both right now, and both are definitely fun scooters, but the Thunder is 2x the cost of the Zero 10X. I don’t think it’s fair to really compare the two, but that said, the Thunder is the higher performing machine, while the Zero 10X is more portable. I think comparing the Zero 10X to a Speedway V would be a more close comparison. I would love to get the two side-by-side and make a comparison video of that.
@@AlienRides Ah that's true tbh. I overlooked the price and performance ratio. Deffo, the Falcon & Speedyway would make a much interesting comparison.
Thanks again for the response!
