There's a saying, that I'll paraphrase that good writing should go "this happens because this happens, and so on.. not this happens, and then this happens" nothing in this show makes sense.

Oh wow one of a few who actually get it and not biased I enjoyed the episode ..It should have been closer to the beginning but Sol gave into the darkside of the force being selfish(wanting a padawan ) and also pulling his light saber and killing out of FEAR using I want the girls to be safe(his excuse for fear) so I'm going to break in and take them ...These other reactors are filled with the darkside of the force for being overly biased based on Novels,comics and video games that most of the casual public don't even know the story line
It's so funny how everybody criticizes the show and yet feels the need to distinguish themselves from the so-called "haters".
Everybody thinks that their disapproval of the show is completely legitimate well reasons and grounded in fact, as opposed to an unidentified group of people whose disapproval of the show is inauthentic and only motivated by racism.
I never said racism. If you don't like a show, that's fine. I'm mainly referring to the review bombers and the hundreds of comments that I've deleted from people saying horrible things and admitting they'll never watch the show for XYZ. Terms I'd prefer not be on my channel. Those people are saying hateful things just to be hateful.
Jedi are so out of character. They are are supposed to be composed, to master their emotions so they don't dictate their choices and paths. Here we have a whiny padawan who wants to go home because he's been away for just two months ? And Sol is completely driven by his emotions in every scene... it's ridiculous.
Everything is so disjointed, the decisions made by the characters don't make sense... it's such a mess of a show :/
I like the show, and I get that they’re trying to show the Jedi as making mistakes, all of that is good and well, but I do agree that this leg of things feels disjointed.
They can have faults without seeming incompetent.
It makes sense in the grand scheme as to why the Jedi started to fall ....they could have paced the story better this should have been ep 4 instead of 7 ...but ur right Torbin and Sol were lead by selfish desires
So I noticed they call him Master Torbin. he was a padawan when it happened 16 years ago When did he become not only a Jedi Knight but a Master if was in a Jedi Meditative state also for 16 years
I wanna say that he was only in that state for 10 years if I remember correctly. So I suppose he had a 6 year window to become a master. Still seems a little quick? Obi-Wan had a 10ish year window from knight to master, so I suppose it's not too far off.

@@wegojinx7053 Oh I agree that it's a quick turnaround if that is the route they are going. I've enjoyed the show, but there have been some questionable choices in the story to say the least
LOL... yeah... when I saw the Wookie with the metal detector I found myself then imagining him with an edger and thought about how cool it would be to have a Wookie gardener. I'll tell you. I won't hire one of these local Mexican dudes, but I would pay hard earned cash to have a Wookie do it. You'd be seeing me busting out selfies on Nextdoor with him and everything... having a spice beer... it'll be awesome.

I had mixed feelings about Sol giving up in that situation where Mae and Osha were going to fall. Yes. It sucked. But he had to make a choice: lose them both or have a chance to save one of them. I can't fault the guy for making that decision right there. But the Jedi had no business putting themselves in this situation and most of this mess really falls on Sol being afraid of what he saw. Not understanding the witches and seeing them as something to fear. It was pretty sad. He should have owned up to it. Osha would be more likely be able to let go of her anger and move on instead of going through what she did.
Thanks for sharing! That makes sense that he had to make a choice. I’ll be interested in how Osha handles the truth when Sol tells her. Hoping it pushes her character darker.
For me it was the fire once again that just completely took me out of the overall story, I feel like I have to rewatch it too judge how I feel about the theme as a whole but the devil for me is in the details. Also I want a resolution as to how the vergance creating life ties into anakin and plagues, I don’t see the connection, so is plagues creating artificial virgences?
Yeah I’ve enjoyed the acolyte for the most part but this whole leg of the story just doesn’t do it for me. Not sure how they resolve parts like what you mentioned in one more episode
I loved it, still slow starting like almost every show... but as usual by the end Im on the edge of my seat yelling NOOOOOO!!!! because I dont want it to end

It belongs in the Rebel Moon Universe, mediocre writing, horrible costumes, unlikable characters and unrelated to actual Star Wars.
Oh man…I hated Rebel Moon. I’ve enjoyed the acolyte as a whole, but not 3 & 6. With that being said, I get where you’re coming from. This show is far from perfect.
