I love that Rhett fully took this exercise and was like "I'm just gonna roast him". Also "pez dispenser" was probably the best and funniest way to describe Link's neck that is so creative
The fact that she still nailed Link’s portrait despite all of Rhett’s exaggerated descriptions of him just shows how talented she is as an illustrator. Massive props to her!

@@weirdokate8840 she’s not a forensic artist, she’s a visual artist.. they are normally drawing models they are looking at.. a caricature artist is a good example.

Rhett was so adamant that his picture didn’t look like him that much and it literally looks exactly like him😂 The picture of Link was pretty good too but she deserved more props for that picture of Rhett!!!

Both of those drawings were really really good. I think the one of Rhett was more accurate to be honest, but both of them were freakin' uncanny! It really goes to show how a talented artist's brain organizes all that random information into a really impressive work.

As a police sketch artist, this was so exciting to see! She did a great job doing it in a way that's not exactly how it's done!

@@standaman6279its way more intensive, the sketch artist will try to actively get the proper description not just listen to the person talk passively. Like the multi hour timeline mentioned by the unseen forensic sketch artist is totally realistic for all the detail discussed and many many many adjustments made throughout the process to get as close as possible to what is in the person's memory.
Plus, even in the re-enactments of real crimes, the witness can see the drawing as it is being drawn and give input.
"If you feel like you've drawn Rachel Maddow, you've nailed it." ok but this is perfect for a Link description, whether he likes it or not.
Link's description of Rhett was just all payback for Rhett's descriptions though lol

Agreed! I think she picked Link's picture more from an artist's perspective. She could easily erase and change a few things to make a more accurate portrait of him where she'd be kind of starting at zero with her drawing of Rhett.

To be fair, it really is much easier to draw Rhett (beard and hair, covering up a lot of defining features), so I think that's why Alissa went with Link's drawing. It had a lot more defining features that Rhett got right.

I think the main thing with link’s is that the lips are way too big. Rhett’s depiction, the face is too wide.
