Love the dual vocals between Christian and Stephen!
This song blew my mind. These boys have upped their game
Anberlin has been one of my favorite bands...if not my favorite...for a very long time. this song just reminded me of why. they constantly reinvent themselves while still staying anberlin. i love it. also...hearing Christian take a more forward vocal with Stephen is SO GOOD.
Helllll yes, dude. This song goes crazy, Anberlin's been one of my favourite bands for a while now.
As a local myself... after being a fan for years & having had the pleasure of finally seeing these guys for the first time IN Adelaide during their reunion tour, can confirm there is nothing better.

@@Roguenjosh For real? I was definitely there early. Don't remember too much but I do recall saying to my friend at the time that it was one of the better opening bands I'd heard. Incredible atmosphere that evening.

@@RoguenjoshI've been a long time fan but never had the chance to see them prior to the split. The reunion was the first time I've seen them live & watching & hearing everyone around me singing their hearts out to every song was magical. Honestly a night I won't forget.

Might be the best song they released in a decade, they need more of this style.
My favorite band of all time, and I love this harder sound. Reminds me a lot of Never Take Friendship Personal.

This is actually a contender for my favorite song from them. Against Paperthin Hymn. I'm not saying that lightly.
I actually liked that they had drawn a better line with regard to keeping things out of the gore. Yet offered some great sound. A little bit disappointed that they are taking this step thereâs already enough dark stuff for those who want that.
Obviously lacerate is an emotional reference on these lyrics ⊠but there certainly seems to be something spiritual at work in the world to try and blur lines between what is light and darkness. And this looks similar to that.
Haha always had screaming in songs of their songs, Anberlin did.

That song and this one are two completely different feels and styles. Of course the obvious reason to point out is Matty singing one vs Stephen singing the other. You wouldnât have guessed that both of these songs would be on the same album(new Vega Album). even though âLacerateâ is technically [first] from the âConvincedâ Ep.
âWalk Aloneâ sounds great, very old school Anberlin feel to it. But if thatâs the style theyâre going to continue to write vs. their most recents, itâs going to be sad to see that version of Anberlin goâŠ
That is until [if] Stephen comes back from hiatus.
