These guys have nailed it- it's the closest thing LP fans can experience moving forward. I mean I've been seeing tribute bands for other bands that are still alive and touring, but Hybrid Theory is now even more special, since Linkin Park as we know it are basically no more. Just think about it- we will never ever see another new live Linkin Park performance with Chester as the lead singer..

I don’t necessarily understand being turned off by a band because of music videos because I just listen to the songs day to day without visuals. For first listens and reactions to the videos I know it can be hard to pay attention to the music, but idk it seems strange to me to base your opinion of the music completely off of that

I feel like hes gotta do this like he's launching his career, hes been dropping singles and apparently now theres an album on the way, and I think the reason why he needs to keep going is because this does become a phase that passes if he lets it sit too long. hes gotta keep the pace until hes comfortable revealing his own voice or hes at least done enough to ensure he can let it sit for a bit without everyone moving on before he comes back. I think an album will be enough to chew on for everyone to give him time to decide his next move.

What is up with all these gatekeepers? I am a rather stereotypical fan of LP. I mainly listen to their first two albums and a good chunk of Minutes to Midnight. I do agree that Chester cannot be replaced, but she just sung that song in a way that conveyed the same energy, so I am all for having someone like that takeover. Especially if it means that LP will start being a bit more old school, because they need this type of energy.
