Have this washer and it shut off mid cycle and not responding when pushing power button. Tested electrical and there’s power to the button. Happen to have the service manual you could send me?
Just tried, it worked! Note: I had to do this 4 times, then it worked just fine. All this happened after putting the machine in “clean the washer” mode. Hope this tip helps!
So, after it failed again, and unable to reach the plug, I tried this: on the main electric panel, I tripped and reset all the GFCI’s. BINGO! Washer power up, laundry in progress. After the July 4th holiday, I will call a licensed electrician to check the panel and install new GFCIs as needed. The washer was built in Canada about 2006, so replacement is likely. REMOVAL will be difficult, but can now be planned. Thank you YOUTube!❤😊
Mine alternates between dE1 & dE2 so the door won't open unless I unplug for 30 seconds then plug back in. Luckily the wash didn’t start but now I dont know what to do from there. I can get it open but as soon as I attempt to wash, the error codes pop up.
This is great information no doubt @baraban916 . The problem is now, there is no manual inside the cabinet, I pulled the top and back open, and I cannot find a single mention of a service manual of any kind anywhere. AND no error codes show. Any hope in finding out what each of the few "modes" of diagnostic are? Someone mentioned up to 14, which there was not even close to that when I hit the start mode to cycle the was stages. Whatever stages two and three are do not move and register a "0" (zero). Cycle 1 spins fine, the rest either do nothing and barely make a noise or, like when the washer is turned on normally for a wash, it buzzes like it is going to start but does nothing but buzz. Any help would be greatly appreciated, no close laundromats - plus why would I want to pay that when I have the machines?
If this machine doesn't drain, could it be something other then the pump like the control panel? Would this test or some other test confirm this issue is the pump (or other component) for non draining washer, machine?
Next step is to press the Start/Pause button,, this takes the washer through each step of its programed cycle. 1 - Tumble Clockwise, 2 Low speed Spin, 3- High speed spin. it goes up to 14. these first few are important as you need to listen for clues. grinding, or a type of ratchet sound, spindle is worn etc. Also the Diagnostic test mode instructions and schematics are inside the cabinet tucked nicely inside. go figure.
How long does each cycle go through? My washer diagnostic began with placing water, than nothing happened. So I then pressed the start button, and it began to do the wash cycle, and has been for about 10 minutes now. Am I supposed to wait for the machine to go through each cycle on it own?? Or am I to continue to click the Pause and Start button?? I did do that and it does not respond to any other cycle. I had to hit the Spin, Soil, and Power button for it to continue rotating but has not changed to the next cycle. Please give me some idea of timeframe, and/or if this option is to be done manually through each cycle?
