EXO is the name. but they always use XO. they are huge in korea china basically in all asia. in asia their popularity is no joke specially in korea china. their fanbase is THE biggest fanbase in those countries. even though they don't promote in western nor they sign under any company in western EXO's billboard chart ranks are very impressive without any US promotions. their last main album 'the war' topped 1 on iTunes 70+ countries. even without any promotions in western EXO is a threat to a certain group with a loads of promotion lmao

I don't remember which month but it's from this year. korean entertainment industry been doing this for the last 3 or 4 years and KAI has been ranking 1st for last 3 years straight . there's only one dancer can challenge Kai for 'the best dancer in kpop' title and that's Taemin from shinee who came 2nd in ranking. I'm EXOL since 2014. this is EXO's The Most Anticipated comeback so let's enjoy!

What you heard were fan chants. It's a big thing with a lot of K-Pop acts that their fandom creates to show support during live performances. Mostly they are respectful and only take place between vocal lines as not to step on them or drown them out. Mostly.
May I add because it was at an award show (that's why we can see other groups too) the place is so big that fanchant are desynchronized and seem like a mess but in smaller stages you can hear it's on the contrary very clean and beautiful because fans are not only screaming but singing with the group and are synchronised ang organized.

You're right you need to check out their ballads that way you can truely check out their vocals. EXO is really versatile. They are known to be one of the male kpop groups with best vocals. Specially their main vocalists: Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. They sing just the three of them in EXO's Miracles in December. Also Universe is the most recent ballad you can check out. I personally love Tell me what is love the most from their ballads it's one of the first songs they released but it's so good.

This was, like most EXO performances, great. However, it did not really showcase EXO's vocal abilities because of the type of songs they performed. They're a group that is well known for their amazing vocals, which are some of the best in all the K-Pop industry, which is why they're so popular. A lot of people have already requested these videos, but I will ask that you please check out EXO's acoustic medley performance from their concert, Baekhyun and Chen performing Really I Didn't Know, as well as their MV for their song Universe. Universe is from their winter album from 2017, and all of the songs on that album are really beautiful (especially if you see the lyrics), and their vocals are shown really well on that album since most of the songs are slower and more like ballads. Additional information : EXO used to have 12 members (8 Korean and 4 Chinese. They used to be divided into EXO-K (Korea) and EXO-M), but now they only have 9 members since 3 Chinese members had left, and now they are not divided into K and M anymore, so it's just "EXO". EXO is pronounced as XO, but in some fanchants and other occassion, it was spelled E X O (letter by letter)

They're officially named as South Korean Nation's pick who performed in the 2018 Pyeonchang Olympics Closing Ceremony together with CL of 2NE1 as kpop representatives.
EXO's more of a vocal group and are great in pop/rnb/ballad but their live performances especially from concerts are some of the best. You can say they are a package: having the best vocals, dance performances, the rapping and ofcourse the visuals. They are one of the top groups in korea since 2013 up till now having a very huge stable fanbase. They do focus promotion more to appeal in Asia than in America. (west).
EXO's a very versatile group. They do a variety of genre so some may not like a few of their songs but it makes their discography very good. Even their b-side tracks are amazing. They are the most awarded kpop group from their generation and the youngest but still remaining as humble & a mysterious group to the public.

exo is a korean-chinese boy group, debuted in 2012 from SM entertainment. they have 8 korean members and 1 chinese member. the chinese member, lay, was absent for almost 2 years because of the korean and china ban. although for their latest comeback later in november this year, lay will participate in the chinese version for their song and music video. exo is considered the kings of kpop and they're incredibly huge in asia. their vocalists are one of the best from the kpop industry. also, the girls showed at 6:03 was red velvet, their juniors from the same company. i would also add that 9 members are not that many lol. exo's juniors, nct, consists of 18 members and counting (that's a very long story though). but thank you for reacting to exo!

Yes, in a group there are *vocal, dance, rap line* etc. In EXO, there are 3 main vocalist, 2 sub vocalist, 2 main dancers, 1 lead dancer, 1 main rapper, 2 lead rappers etc but the thing about EXO is they're so *diverse* and tend to experiment a lot of things for their music and concept (their upcoming album will be a rock genre and last year is a reggae) so it's really great to check them out especially that they are deemed to have the best vocal line for 3rd generation of KPOP.
They're also diverse individually. Everyone is an actor and an ambassador then we have composers, producers, models, sub-units, fashion icons, fashion co-creative director, designers, soloists, musical actors and a future doctor in his studies. They're also so talented even the rappers can sing and one of them can even play more than four instruments, beatbox, DJ etc.
This is the beauty of having many talented members in a group. They tend to be so *well packaged* that the public is easily attracted to *what they have in store.*
Anyways, it is really not surprising that they can balance singing and dancing, they experience *years* of harsh training to be able to do so and debut as an artist not to mention that EXO came from SM who's really strict when it comes to vocals and their training.
They did this after consecutive concerts if I'm remembering the dates correctly. You can look at the acoustic medley in their concerts, fans are quiet and the vocals can be heard more though no dancing of course. They have a lot of ballads, and they also do a lot of solo stuff. Most of my faves are ballads haha :) The number of members is really for the performance/dancing because it just wouldn't look as great with only 4 or 5 members, at least for me.

I am from USA, I have listened to EXO for 3 years, I found them on YOU TUBE really by mistake, just looking for music.....the minute I heard them, I fell in love ....the energy, the vocals, the whole look of the group. I am far from being a teenager, and some of my peers find it odd that I listen, it's ok, I listen to lots of music, but KPop is really amazing...it doesn't matter that I don't understand most of the lyrics. I love the sound. I cannot believe you don't know more about them, but now you know,,and perhaps you too, will like them as much as I.
These are talented kpop artist. Singing live always. Fans sometimes sings with them. I was with two of their concerts here in America, and I never ceases to forget them. And to top of that, it's hard to sing while u r dancing, but EXO are different, they can tackle all of those. Thank u for showing them.
