- The Game Face Geon was released for only a short time around March of 2023 before disappearing into the abyss. We've looked at a bunch of bad blasters over the years, and sometimes it's completely suggestive. There is no argument with the Geon, as it was completely pulled from retailers and promptly forgot about. The Game Face Trion is one of the best blasters you can buy, but the Geon should just exist as a bad memory.

I never EVER thought I'd get my hands on one of these... and now there's a couple on Amazon leftover to purchase by somebody left holding the bag...or blasters, in this case.

@@kjstraat2594 I have? I just didn't have a lot to say on it. It's a BASR-L.
I did get my hands on one. And it did suck. I contacted game about it and they told me to send it back and they would look at it. Two weeks later they told me they would send me a refund. I ask them if they would send me a Trion instead and they said sure. So at least i got a Trion out of it. They do have really good customer service.
Damn that is really good customer service, maybe I should do the same thing lol ;)
It's looks like a Kel-Tec, good to see it has it's reliability too.

The Geon is like the cousin at the family gathering that tries to fit in with everyone but no one likes them so they leave early
The sliding part on the magazine is probably what activates the slide lock on the blaster. Problem is, it stops right before the mag lips so that means the blaster has no way of knowing if the mag has one dart left or if it's empty. Major design oversight.
Now hear me out- rip it apart and see if it can be modified! Maybe it's something stupid and cheap to fix that improves reliability and then you can have a super unique sidearm since no one will have had the chance to get one.

Improving the internals still won’t fix the fact that one of the best features about this type of gun is ruined by the design of this blaster

My younger brother has the pre-gameface version of this blaster and his runs awesomely. No jams or weird lockups, gravity drops the mags, locks open and charges properly. So I don't know what Gameface did to this design, but man that sucks!

I use the Amazon version SP 50 from last year, they sent me the all blackout can't use in public one. Hits 120 consistently. Compatible with Nightingale mags out the box. I believe different internals?

Honestly it would probably work as a cosplay prop more than an actual blaster
the SP-50 mold this is based on works just fine (the Chinese version you showed)

Game Face will have an in house designed pistol released sometime in 2024 according to their marketing person who runs their Instagram. I wore them out with “cheeky” comments and they finally commented on the release.
And it looks like darts get stuck in the barrel during your slam firing at 10:45.

120fps is not bad. Not being able to load it is bad though 😂 What an interesting loading mechanism. There is a hammer, but it’s for looks only it appears? I’d love to see the internals.
the priming basically makes it a retaliator in a pistol form factor thats really garbage

It’s not to good but I’d rather use that then some of the worst blasters from 2022 or 2021 with things like the mandolorian blaster or pump SG
Looks like the clone was made with half a blaster then copied and flipped to make the other side. If it had better ergo I would have wanted one and knew it existed.
I own a Dart Zone Outlaw. That's a great secondary weapon. The FPS Averaged about 129. It's not as high as I'd like. I prefer 150+ FPS. But the ergonomics, accuracy, and distance are really good.
if they will continue this then they should definitely make a gen 2 that doesn't have any of the mechanical issues that it does now

If you want a reliable mag fed springer pistol with propietary mgs just get a fire rate or a viper

The point of the thing on the side of the mag is so that when it’s empty, that part will push the slide lock up from the inside and lock the slide back. The same feature is seen on real handguns

Pretty sure some company like Zhenduo made a remodel that just changed the internals and only the internals to work properly.

Honestly, I want it, not for shooting but reloading. A slide release on a blaster? Say no less!
Realistically there are only three or four places to put the PT of a springer "pistol", so calling everything that's got an under - barrel PT a "gecko clone" eventually becomes a stretch.
I've taken calling the family tree "Geckoids" as there are incremental improvements but it is worth who appears to have done it first.
I really like the sp50 and guess I have Kong hands because I like the grip.

Just get the SP50. That's the blaster this is a clone of. It works slightly better than this.
How have nerf blasters just become the toy guns with the consistently worst quality on shelves, despite NEEDING higher-power parts to function than airsoft or gel blasters? There's Hasbro with their...everything, Dart Zone with recent failings in the Omnia, Buzzbee's everything, and now Game Face, the PINACCLE of "I need an airsoft rifle for $50 fast for an event with my friends", made this. 3D printed, they're fine. In fact, NERF blasters have the consistently HIGHEST standards in places like Etsy and Ebay, mostly due to modding. But the retail products just...kind of suck lately.

Bruh, the borschart c-93 had a better grip, and it's notorious for it's vertical grip being the literal worst grip ergonomically possible. Wtf
