This fertility yoga class is a gentle practice that explores poses that stimulate the meridians closely linked to our reproductive health and energy in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After this practice, I encourage you to work through the journal prompts below.
If possible, set yourself up next to a wall. If that’s not possible, set up near a chair, couch, or bed. If none of those are available to you, grab a cushion, stack of pillows, blankets, or blocks.
Optional Props: Bolster/ Cushion (or pillow, blanket, or large towel) and strap (or tie, belt, large towel, or scarf)
When to practice: whenever it fits your schedule and feels most supportive to you. Ultimately, it’s your call.
How often to practice: I usually recommend practicing some form of yoga at least three times/ week for my one-on-one clients, more often if it feels good to do so and it works for their schedule, less often if it doesn’t. Ultimately, it’s your call.

    Journal Prompts/ Reflection Questions
    - How did I feel before I started this class?
    - How do I feel now, after class?
    - In this practice, we explored the meridians associated with the water element via yoga poses that stimulate the parts of our bodies where these meridians are located. The water element and its associated organs are deeply linked to our energy levels and vitality. Ask yourself, “Is there anything I can release that has been draining me of my energy and sense of vitality?” It can be as simple as not scrolling on Instagram when you first wake up or before bed. Keep it simple.

How long after eating can it be done

Hi there! That would depend on what you ate and what feels best to you. I don't subscribe to hard and fast rules around best timing as everyone is so different. I recommend checking in with yourself to notice how you feel and what feels best to you. Best wishes!

I have been married for four years and still have not been able to conceive.

I'm sorry to hear that. If you and your partner haven't gone to see a doctor, you might want to. There could be a lot of different reasons you haven't conceived yet: not having sex at the right time of your cycle, anatomical issues, medical conditions, issues with sperm quality, shape, or motility, etc. I hope you find the answer to your concern.
