Nice job. Thanks for watching. You might not be wrong, we just used the most popular comparisons I could find for todays use of language. So many different names for things.
An American semi-truck is not a lorry in the UK but an artic or articulated vehicle/truck or a tractor-trailer. Lorry is just another word for truck and 50 years ago the word waggon was in common use.
Thanks. Based in the USA. I was just going off of what various sites had referred to them as. So is Lorry like a pickup truck or small truck that isn't quite the tractor trailer?
@@TashasTrivia No, lorry is just another word for truck, of any size. However, it is a little old-fashioned, used only by older people, and has largely been superseded by truck.
