    Camille Vasquez summed up the entire trial that DV has no gender. Its not a setback to women but a big victory for the survivors and victims of DV. She completely out lawyered Elaine in every aspect.

    Ben is a class act. He's right there at the top. Him being humble and saying Camille did better than he did with the examinations just goes to show his humility and sense of responsibility in lifting a younger and bright lawyer to a high confidence level, even post win.

      He also let a very green, young lawyer cross examine a witness as well. That’s a huge deal in such a high profile case. You could tell she was nervous and it was hard for her to maneuver around the objections but she got through it and when she was done the whole team was clearly very supportive and reassuring.

    I am noticing that Ben has nervous tics - so glad to see that he is viewed so kindly by people despite this. My whole family suffers from tics and it‘s great to see someone as successful as Ben dealing with this issue and not letting it get in his way.

      ironically i remember seeing these same physical symptoms in a lawyer from the tv show The Good Wife (lawyer played by Michael J Fox), so i THINK it might be 'tardive dyskinesia'. and i agree with you, Ben is a formidable lawyer, and whatever it may be thats causing the tics, i love that it doesn't get in the way of his excellence at all. phenomenal!

    I love how he said that Camille did better than him. He didn’t have to do that. He didn’t need to say that. But he thought to deservedly lift Camille up.
    Camille did such a great job. In my understanding, it was Ben who led their excellent team of lawyers. They’re all so inspiring to witness

      In my opinion Camille didn't really do extraordinary work. I mean, let's be honest, it was a lose for Amber's team frm the start because they only played with lies. Camille did good, but it wasn't really hard to do good against Amber's incompetent lawyers.

      Yeah having the facts surely helped, but she did far more than that. It was also the way how she spoke to Amber. She stopped her like a laser when Amber once again tried to gaslight the jury, but at the same time managed to appear fair and likeable.
      Also, to do this you have to be very prepared and she was. Not like Elaine who could sometimes not ask one single question without being interrupted because she was leading.
      It's like when you watch ballet dancers, it looks so easy and light, but that's because they do an extraordinary job.

    Camille Vasquez did a marvelous job at countering AH on the stand and expose her lies. The legal team for JD knew once they had AH on the stand she will never admit to any of her faults and keep on lying. They just need to keep exposing her. AH did a great job at exposing her self as a pathological compulsive liar and a narcissist sociopath.

    You know how often the best in every profession are often people with huge egos. Ben Chew is the total opposite of that, not only did he give credit to Camille Vasquez, he also admits that her examination was far more effective than his.     Ben Chew, your humble honesty, heart, leadership and experience shines through. Camille Vasquez was the perfect choice and she did an outstanding job. Unlike Amber’s team, there was no mocking of Amber’s voice and words, no demonizing of her drinking and drug habits, no use of texts against her and her sister that were so redacted as to suggest an attempt to confuse or manipulate the person. By letting the facts speak for themselves along with confronting Amber with her own words and lack of accountability, the jury and the world got to make up their own minds. You are both a class act along with your team. The trust and team work were impressive. So glad Johnny had you both in his corner.

    One thing that stuck to me about Ben that I like is his consistent highlight of accountability. Not just Amber, but many need to be held accountable these days, there’s too many who get away with so much and the rest of society have to suffer through it.

    This guy is a great leader and just a wonderful person. Listen to how he compliments Camille and says I thought she was far more effective than me. I think most other senior partners would have been selfish and made the trial all about themselves, this guy actually gave up the spotlight to let someone else shine despite being a top lawyer.

    Camille was AMAZING!!! After the cross I thought “if she doesn’t get considered for promotion after this or if she’s not given more responsibilities or more calls to be someone’s representation after this, I will be very disappointed!” After finding out she got promoted I was so happy and excited for her.

    Ben Chew did a great job. I understand why everyone's talking about Vasquez, but they're forgetting that Ben was the lead and the whole team worked really well together. It was smart to put Camille against Amber, but the whole team were well prepared and knew what part they needed to play. Great work.

    It felt like this trial was the first time AH had ever been confronted with reality and held accountable. I really feel like everyone around her played along even when they knew her 'mountain of evidence' was extremely dubious. Using her own words against her was a masterful strategy. And I feel her refusal to ever admit that some of the things she claimed weren't reflected in the photos was jarring. It appeared delusional to me at times, I imagine the jury noticed too.

    It takes a big man to take on such a high profile case and recognise and admit that someone on your team is better suited for an important job. He didn’t shine as brightly as he could have during this case, because he encouraged Camille to have her moment in the sunshine (literally) and he’s proud rather than envious of the rockstar performance she delivered.
