      @@qdo4 in all honesty, it comes down to personal preference. For example I find XFX's models such as the MERC319 super clean, and perfect for my future build, but I can see people disagreeing. Because even I agree XFX cards are just beastly in size.

    Sapphire is better option. Not only that amd is about to replace all the low ro mid end end cards like anything below 3070 would be replaced.
    I mean for 1650 super (desktop) - u have the amd strix point 16 cu version.
    For 3050 6gb (desktop) u have the 20 cu strix halo.
    For 3050 8gb oc (desktop) u have the 24 cu strix halo.
    For 3060 12gb you have the 32 cu strix halo.
    For 3060 ti to 3070 (desktop) you have the 40 cu monster strix halo.
    Why would someone even bother going for low end gpus. (U not only get powerful i gpu, the zen 5 and zen 5c is super powerful)
    No need for msi.
    (Amd strix halo is going to be costly) 😅 more costlier than the cpu GPU combined. But it's good for extremely slim laptop and mini pc and handheld.

    • @Blazingniga
      @Blazingniga Před měsícem

      Driver Issue: The most common issue when it comes to flickering LED fan lights is a driver issue that can easily be fixed1. You can try reinitializing the drivers. To do this on Windows 10, go to Device Manager, then select the dropdown menu for Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Uninstall the driver for your host controller, then right-click Universal Serial Bus Controllers and click on Scan for hardware changes. The drivers will be reinitialized and the lights should come back on1.
      Power Supply: The fan might only blink if the power in the system is not stable2. Check if the fans are connected to the power supply or a fan controller. If they’re connected to the fan controller, see if the error is there2.
      Cable Connection: It might be worth taking out the RGB cable from the motherboard and then putting it back in as it may not be on properly3. Then reboot and see if it works3.
      Voltage and Fan Speeds: Another common issue is in the motherboard’s fan controller. It either isn’t getting enough power, or it isn’t outputting enough power1. A simple fix for this would be to boot up into the BIOS of your machine and adjust the voltages of different parts of your computer to allow more power to be allocated to the fans1. Also, try adjusting the fan speeds. Instead of running your fans at maximum power try running them at 75% (and vice versa)1.
      Remember, always turn off and unplug your PC before working on it to avoid any potential electrical hazards. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be worth consulting with a professional or the manufacturer’s customer support.

    I wonder how you can measure the % of cards being used in PCs. I don't think Steam is a reliable metric because there are a lot of those places with public PC's (idk what they're called but they're big in Asia) with Steam preinstalled, you just log in with your own account, and that'd go towards the metrics? Not sure tho

    I currently run a 3060ti and a ryzen 5 5600x is their room for upgrading? Where should I go?

    • @Blazingniga
      @Blazingniga Před měsícem

      GPU Upgrade: If you’re looking for a significant improvement in graphics performance, you might consider upgrading your GPU. The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT is a standout graphics card ideally tailored for the Ryzen 5 5600X1. It delivers immersive 1440p gaming, incorporates modern technologies like FSR 3.0, and stands out with a robust cooling solution1. However, it’s worth noting that upgrading from RTX 3060 Ti to RTX 4060 is not recommended as it is less than 30% of improvement in performance2.
      CPU Upgrade: If you’re looking to improve overall system performance, particularly for CPU-intensive tasks, you might consider upgrading your CPU. However, the Ryzen 5 5600X is already a very capable CPU, and an upgrade may not be necessary unless you’re doing heavy multitasking or running CPU-intensive applications.
      RAM Upgrade: If you’re running memory-intensive applications or multitasking heavily, you might benefit from adding more RAM. 16GB is usually sufficient for most users, but if you’re running out of memory frequently, consider upgrading to 32GB.
      Storage Upgrade: If you’re running out of storage space or if your system is slowing down due to a hard drive, consider upgrading to a larger or faster SSD.

    • @hauk9659
      @hauk9659 Před měsícem +1

      Nah, unless you are interested in high refresh 1080p, like 240hz kind of gameplay, in which case your cpu will start to show its age when you do the GPU upgrade. You're gonna be better off waiting a bit for the ryzen 7 x3d procs and am5 motherboards to come down in price a bit then do the whole shebang in one go. By then the rx8000 series should be out so you can see what the price/performance is looking like there as well.

    It sucks that AMD GPU’s get such little support. AMD has built in tuning that works, no login for driver updates / to use software for card, FSR that is not locked down, SAM. In my experience less telemetry. Nvidia is just so corporate to me. Try out AMD Adrenaline when you have a chance it’s so clean. Not gonna stop supporting AMD unless they aren’t pushing forward anymore.
