Thanks! I was shocked by all that smoke, 505 puts on a darn good show, all that black smoke, the burbling of the 251D engine as it throttles up! can't help but wonder if that is a normal thing or if 505 needs a trip to the shop lol! A bit of Alco smoke (like 181) is one thing, this seems a bit excessive. I plan to make my way out there a couple more times to film history, i'm gonna miss the MLW smoke shows in Guelph, and the MLW's themselves (which i hope OSR keeps a few)
It is a daily event, i believe they run two jobs on this line Monday to Friday. The ALCO's have been a fixture for years, however, GEXR is set to take over the line next month so these smoke shows will become a thing of the past soon :(
