Chris Nicholson, author of “Photographing National Parks,” first photographed Acadia in 1997, and has since returned about a dozen times. In this presentation he shares strategies and stories from working in the park, including information about places to stay, specific gear to consider bringing to an Acadia shoot, iconic and off-the-beaten-path locations, and subjects a photographer can expect to find during different times of year.
Just like the National Park Service, Acadia is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2016. The presentation also includes news about centennial events scheduled for the park, including photography retreats, winter and night-sky festivals, wildlife seminars and more.

Great combination of beautiful country and a very enjoyable presenter. Chris always does a fine job, and I look forward to more videos on national parks photography. Thanks so much, B&H.
+Old400 Thanks for watching! More B&H original content can be found here: www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/.
Good presentation with very practical advice on gear. 31:30 is something I have said time and time again to people. And have heard it from others as well. Such important info!
As always nice presentation!
fantastic!
I recommend skipping to 40 minutes. Most everything before that point was about gear, survival, and what appeared to be an advertisement for a video of other national parks. Only after 40 are there any specifics about Acadia.
Thanks for the tip.
B & H is excellent I have bought much of my photography equipment there
