I'm thinking about starting to learn to play guitar.
Approximately how many years are required to reach this level?:D With tons of practising of course.
I guess I'm too naive but i'm still curious.
Mate, find yourself a teacher, it will minimize the struggles in 60%. After i started studying with proper guidance I improved what took 6 months to learn by myself in 2 weeks with proper orientation. Perhaps in one year of A LOT of studying you may find yourself playing with such ease as this fella.
@@thecyborg02 No way you will get to this level in a year, unless you do literally 12 hours of concentrated practice a day.
Even If you dedicate say 2-3 hours a day to practice, which is still in the realm of reasonable for most people, it'll take many years to be able to play cleanly at this speed.
You can see in the video that even ristridi trips up a bit in the infamous sweep, as it is really, really fucking hard.

That was awesome maaan!! I have learnt the whole song except for the sweeping part, some tips or advices to improve? i want to do a cover but I cant play that sweep :(
Gundrax fernas play it as slow and as accurate as you can and take your sweet time with it. You'll naturally build up speed as you get used to it. It'll take you a long time to plat it up to speed but you'll be there shortly if you keep playing it slow and accurate
Two words: Slanted picking, either variation that works better for you. Improved my alternate picking and sweeping 100% more. Keeping the pick leveled makes it get stuck and you position your hand to mute the strings better in my opinion.

I don't have one, at least not by myself. On ultimate guitar you find decent ones, however if you combine these and using your ears for parts that don't seem quite right, you should get the best results :)
