I had a 5400 planter several years ago, definitely a nice upgrade from a 540 runner/plate planter. I acquired a 2nd one that had the electric markers, they worked sweet, nicer than a rope. really enjoying your videos.

Ross. You have been very transparent- I owe you the same. I came from your typical Midwest dairy farm in the 60's. I was somewhat gifted regarding tractor operation and my Father invested conscientiously. I recieved a Ford 960. I didn't appreciate the size of these till recently. And they could have been even larger. We had nearly every equipment mfr, except Moline or Oliver. However I did have experience with both. I rented a MM 670super, and briefly owned an Oliv1800c.The 670super was breathtaking but the Oliver came with mechanical issues, but operator comfort wasn't lost. Seems that Moline and/or Oliver may have been worth a serious look. Molines were a fixture but even later, 77-88's served . The Super series still ply the roads here. The UB and the Super series are of intrest. Please advise. I have much more in the rear view mirror than the windshield. Time matters. Really enjoying your videos! Really like the corn harvest '22, with the 1755. I won't offer any criticism regarding the combine. I was impressed! A good deed throated diesel! A few Oliver relics around- and many MM tractors available. I've made offers for both. No success yet. I intended to say " deep throated diesel " Be it a railroad locomotive or a G-1355, I couldn't care less about "emissions ". Diesel power and efficiency is indisputable. Let's turn the air black!

Yeah, pollution control is what’s going to ruin our country. It’s not the farmers causing the most damage if anything it’s the planes in the sky. All those government private jets burning that fuel hauling politicians around

well, she clearly wanted to run. I'm sure it'll be different story once you get the carb cleaned out. Nice old tractor - looks to be in original condition.

I use pump gas. Sometimes I use additives sometimes not.
