He definitely started playing cause of me, but he has obviously gone alot further because he moved up to the city of Brighton and met these very talented musicians. I screwed around playing with looses in the south, the decent band I was in unfortunately we split because we could never find a drummer. Still love you bro keep it up!
That must have been an amazing summer, an amazing experience to after a while be like “there they are again”, getting to have that woven into the fabric of your city.
If you knew at that time that two years later you would be reacting to Ren who is exploding right now. Regarding him soloing and singing a lot of bass players who are singers play the most intriguing parts when they are not singing and something simpler when they sing. See Sting or Robert Smith for example I knew he played great guitar but I was impressed with how smooth his notes were sounding

Also, you really can't go wrong with any Big Push cover. Whether their Man's World medley, or their Covid edition of Guns of Brixton, or their fun and jumpy take on Welcome to Jamrock, they always serve up a good time. I've had my eye on these cats for a couple years now, and can't wait to see them whenever they finally come play stateside, whenever we get there. Fingers crossed for late 2021? 2022? Okay, now I'm sad again. Guess I'll go watch Blind Eyed and bring the mood back up. Thanks for always bringing us great content!

Beautiful! "Wade in the Water" became a favorite as I took advantage living in Middletown, CT attending dance recitals at Wesleyan University. Wesleyan students and famous guest groups were always featured. A real Gospelly "Wade in the Water" with exuberant dancers wow! This too is magical! ❤️

This is my home town. These guys played the streets so much last summer it was INCREDIBLE they’re so soulful and that Ren is just perfection 👌🏼🙌🏼✨
