      Lol!! I agree about the plate look. I think that years down the road these original blades will have be worth something. There was not a huge number of them produced and how many will end up in the landfill or chopped up snd customized.

      Hey its really good to hear from you. Also thank you for the compliment. So Your at 16,000km now, that's amazing! I hope to have a new Blade in a couple weeks or so. I am back and forth non stop thinking blade or blade 2. Pros and cons of each. The1000watt blade vs the blade 2 i think the Blade 2 is actually better deal. You get the upgraded forks the rear suspension and the big bright led headlight for a difference of $300-$400. The forks to buy alone are around $300. But they are not cheap to buy

      @@steven1498 i checked your one video out 2 or 3 day ago. I can't believe you are at 16,000km that's crazy! What is your blade again 1000 or 500watt i want to say a 500watt with the large battery. I try to remember each person's blade they own from wattage to the battery size the color and where they are in the world. This info is important to me because I can take all that info and to get more accurate real world use of the bikes. And help people interested in thd blades to make the right choice in what model, wattage, etc. I feel this is all important to because Rize Bikes can see from comments and video content what people want or what they like or dislike to make changes in future models. Sad now seeing this. I could not wait any longer and ended up canceling my order in September and buying super 73 rx

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před 2 lety +2

      That sucks that you already are having a significant amount of issues with your Super 73 bike. I have been following ebike news and taking note of what people's thoughts are on any bike in the so called scrambler style bikes. I will be honest the super73 rx looks cool and have some pros and some major cons I feel. Did you not watch my video in these bikes! Lol. Anyway I know 73 recently did a over the air software update on the bikes to resolve a power issue i believe. Well from what super 73 stayed is that some bikes it fixed them and others now need to have their controller replaced and the bikes don't work. Akso the batteries have been falling off of the bikes and the list goes on it seems. Don't get me wrong every bike and company has some issue. If I could give you one piece of advice that would be order tires for it now or try and get on a waiting list because I am almost positive that your bike runs odd tire sizes either 5inch X 20incj or 4.250inch X 20. At one point I was considering the same super73 but the more and more research i did and heard a ton of issues. Plus the battery mounting spot, the single speed that you can upgrade, it comes with no extras plus tires size issue it did not make sense to me to purchase. You are paying a premium on that bike and you could spend $100ss more on upgrades like gears so you can actually peddle with it etc. Again I think the bike looks wild and does have some great components and upgrades I wish that the blade or others had. Your front axle is super heavy duty and I love the forks, inverted forks are better you don't get all that grime build up on the seals and its hard for water to get into the fork and the ride is smoother snd predictable. And the rear gas and spring shock is great to have, that keeps the bike planted properly.

    Did you have to get a torque arms for either Blade? Apparently were issues with motors dying and Rize sent them to people for free for some versions of Blades to rectify the issue.

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před rokem +1

      No I did not get torque arms on my bike. My friend and I came up with an idea for torque arms. He has them lazer cut so they are nice clean cuts. I have had some issues with my motor dying out randomly. I had the screen the wire harness and controller all replaced and it still is not right. I am in the process if getting it figured out. What happened to others bikes when it happend. I am going to talk to them about this. I told rize a few years back before this new Blade model. That they should have torque arms

      @@RSCLifeontwowheels thanks for the reply. Are you having issues with your new 2022 Blade or the OG Blade? I am on the fence and thinking about buying the 2022 Blade 1000 watts but if there are lots of issues I dont think I will. I also want to know how responsive Rize has been in dealing with issues post sale. Please let me know.

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před rokem +2

      To start every single bike, car ,truck, house anything manufactured has some type of issue. Some are more then others. The being said Rize Bikes stands behind there products and has always corrected what the issue is. They usually respond within 2 business days, you are not the only person lets that has a question or a possible issue. To be honest almost all the ebikes that you see they carry out a familiar design. most of these companies bikes come from the exact same factory. They just have frame variations and components and graphics and colors etc. In the end Rize had been around for awhile now, they used to be spark bikes prior to Rize Bikes. They are not a pop up company that will be her sbd gone within the year. Chances are if you went with sat rad power you could have the exact same issue. I think they have all that sorted out now

      My controller died. Electronics are like that. You could buy the exact same TV as your buddy the exact same day. Yours could last 2 years or a few weeks and his could last for two years. But I had a almost power surge feeling of power when riding my bike. Then my controller went. Replaced it all and has the motor issue. I think the motor slipped

    Very cool information. Thank you for that information. Can you tell me if the motor plug on the new blade is the same as last year's? I have the 750w motor and the plug is a octagon shaped (bafang).

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před 2 lety

      Thank you for your comments. I am not sure on the plug if its octagon or not? I think the 500w 750w and 1000w are different because of the wire size. Are you just curious if they are the same or do you want new parts? Also by the looks of things so far there is no 750w option for the Blade, could be wrong.

      @@RSCLifeontwowheels I'm thinking on upgrading the 750w to the 1000w motor using the same stock controller. I was wondering of the plug of the motor is the same. Would be an easy swap to do. If not I'll just upgrade the entire electronic system with a 3000w motor.

      Hey buddy how are you? Your videos were great by the way! I have had a bit of a rough go for a few weeks, but thats life! So its kinda a long story with the frame. I was sent the frame through Rize and they flew it over from the manufacturer. I was supposed to get the frame in july/August but that obviously didn't work out for timing. I am also going to be getting a new 1000watt Blade hopefully soon. But after seeing your video and talking to a guy who bought through my channel I am up in the air with the blade or Blade 2. So hopefully I have one here soon. What ever that may be. But yes there is a 2022 frame sitting at the moment at my house. Its funny my OG Blade is the last frame that was ever produced of that style.

      @@RSCLifeontwowheels I’m loving the new suspension, especially the front. It works so much Better than the OGs. You were right that it stops you from turning as sharp but I haven’t had any issues yet. I’d like to soften the rear suspension a little but I’ll wait until Rize releases their tutorial. I find standing up on the Blade 2 is much more responsive than the OGs and you feel much more in control. It’s definitely a bigger bike but that’s not a bad thing. It’s been so fun and it does EVERYTHING (except wheelies 😜) better and I’ve had no desire to get back on the OG since I got it. I rode last Saturday to Range test it and I did 103km loop with 17% on the batteries . Oh, the seat still sucks but it’d definitely an improvement over the OG.

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před 2 lety +1

      So it wheelies better? So you find the back shocks a little stiff? I thought they looked stiff from your videos, the shocks might get a little softer with some riding or like you said some adjustments. A guy on my channel did 111km on his blade 2 on one charge and he was all throttle. That being said he takes his batteries down very low if not to dead.

    • @megadavesworld4238
      @megadavesworld4238 Před 2 lety +2

      @@RSCLifeontwowheels Blade 2 is harder to wheelie because the front end is not as light as the OG. It’s still doable, just more effort.
      I don’t know if I’ll soften the shocks because I notice it makes you “bounce “a bit it you pedal harder. I’d like to experiment with adjusting them.

    • @RSCLifeontwowheels
      @RSCLifeontwowheels  Před 2 lety +2

      I actually said talked abkut those 2 things in my one video. How I thought the back shocks would be super stiff or they would be bouncy, because they do not have a gas shock or dampening to help slow down and control the shock. The other thing i talked about was how I though the new blades especially Blade 2 would be hard to get the front up/wheelie etc. The reason is the places the back wheel back further behind you. The OG blade the axle is a little in towards the crank from the rear of your seat. The new blades rear wheel is actually set further back and then the seat and kinda sticks out. Your fulcrum point changes and now your body weight is even further ahead if the rear wheel. Unfortunately with the blade 2 it will be even harder to get it to do wheelies because the things I just mentioned and the rear suspension wants to keep that front down and the weight like you said of the large forks and another is the double battery. That's another 10-12 pounds I would think. Both Blades look great and there are trade offs with each model I suppose. Also what are you thinking of the seat? Is it like the old one and just thinner material? And what's that kinda 2up seat like to ride? Does it make uncomfortable positioning as you may want to sit in the middle of the seat?
