Не могу наслушаться. Миллионный раз переслушиваю.., восхищаюсь и удивляюсь. Бомба..... помпезно и эпохально.... что ещё придумать.....
Да, команда культовая.
Не могу оторваться от этой композиции с 1984 года. Была на кассетнике в ужасном качестве,но в душу запала навсегда.

84-й год - Романтика 306 на полную мощность дома и на дискотеках школьных до изнеможения под этот шедевр. Убойная мощь и сила. Тогда не было ни клипов, ни плакатов с ними, смысл песен был не понятен, но энергия перла из динамиков колоссальная. Ultravox - ФОРЕВА!!!

I sincerely think Midge Ure is the such a nice man, and 80's music including all the work of Ultravox is the best, most happy and uplifting music you can listen too, Class, sophisticated and so COOL , I'm sure you all agree !!! Rock on good fellow , in an age full of war , anarchy on the tv you bring us much needed light relief and for this we thank you.

Midge was so cool and sophisticated! Sometimes it left the critics cold. They didn't get it. That was their problem! Midge helped us feel things in a humdrum life.

Just seen Midge in Southend his 1980 tour, it’s now October 2019. Always a top man. Rusty Egan was with him as they did Visage and Vienna complete album sets.
I am going to see him in Bath on the 15th of Feb, he said it will be a special concert as it's here he lives

Этот альбом я записал ещё в 1982 году. Впечатления сильные и по прошествии 31-го года они не переменились. Советую всем, альбом "Quartet" 1982, 1984 "Lament" такой же по силе. Вот раньше попса была, не то что последние 20-25 лет. Это одна из лучших групп "новой волны" того периода.

Most likely yes. Although they were never specific, I gather they tried various numbers in rehearsals but decided certain things didn’t work very well.
And they would only play 6/7 tracks from a new album anyway, so a couple would never make it.

Um It was a long time ago, but they did play this live on the Monument tour (I think) Was at the Glasgow Apollo and think this was on the playlist since it was promoting the Quartet album..
Hey Alison, I was at that Glasgow Apollo gig too! :) Brilliant night, inc the bouncers telling us on my row (complete strangers to each other) to stop dancing on our seats lol! But I can't remember if they did this or not. I do recall The Song & Visions In Blue as the encores, looking at my watch wondering if I was going to make my last bus home, not wanting to miss any of it & having to bomb it up Sauchiehall St to the bus station! Just made it in time! Happy times :D
We had to run for the last train from Central back to Ayrshire.

Absolutely! I lied to my mum & dad that my friend was coming with me, so they wouldn't worry I was going to a gig in Glasgow on my own! So good job I did get that bus, or my dad would've had to pick me up from Coatbridge station & found out lol! ;) Doesn't seem like 32 yrs ago does it?! I didn't see them again for 30 yrs till the Brilliant tour 2012 Hammersmith Apollo, my 50th bday pressie to myself - still nobody to go with, but I didn't care, danced for 2 1/2 hrs feeling 19 again...tho my aching bod next day reminded I wasn't haha! :D
You can actually look up the setlist:) i thought they played it in Utrecht september 18th 1984 but they did not. Still got my ticket and a picture of me and midge
