    Nice. Two of my favorite things in one, diy building and studios.

    Loved the last studio build, but I'll definitely be taking notes on this one as well since you are building in an already finished space.

      Yeah, that is the biggest difference with this studio build, I’m not ripping it apart lol! Thanks for watching

    Looking great. I got my room (similar size as yours…but not symmetrical unfortunately) sounding about as good as I can these days in the sweet spot, but didn’t go to near the amount of effort. My wife would kill me. LOL. I also tend to reorganize entirely too often. I always get ideas from your vids over the years and appreciate it! Really happy to see you back on YT! Even started my own channel (sorta… long story)….. Take care!

      Thank you, yeah I figured this particular studio build would probably be more relatable to the modern producer opposed to my last massive super and depth studio build.
      Ha ha I change my studio set up and configuration all the time. Maybe this Studio won’t do that as much. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it.

      Yes, that’s awesome. Yeah it’s always nice to build a new studio because there’s always things you can learn from the previous one.

    Really looking forward to this series! Out of curiosity, why aren’t you drywalling (à la “room within a room”)? Is there no concern for noise bleed to the rest of the house this time around?

    • @TrueSoundTV
      @TrueSoundTV  Před 16 dny +2

      Thanks so much. So the walls of this house are all concrete block, and that concrete block is filled with concrete. Coupled with missile rated impact windows, the soundproofing is pretty incredible on its own. I’m not really sure why some of the weaker spots like the ceiling don’t let as much sound through the house but it doesn’t. I will have a DB test like I did last time and you’ll see how well it does at stopping sound from leaving that space.
      Also having to do the entire room within a room and then additionally create the acoustic treatment It’s just so much work. This room is already small enough as it is and that would just eat up even more space. I also wanted to create a really great sounding studio build series that wasn’t all about ripping everything apart and starting over. I took a bit of a risk and went with this design and the results are very impressive

    Were you able to extract the value from your last studio when you sold the house?
