- What is the best RC car for racing on a budget.
We enjoy nothing more than some close racing here at Popalong and it is even better when you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to do it.
We have raced the FTX Vantage, FTX Comet, and the Tamiya Mini but it is now the turn of the FTX Banzai to hit the track.
Awesome unboxing of a great RC drift car, but can it be turned into a racer to rival the Tamiya TT01 or TT02 range of cars.
The FTX Banzai is one of the nicest looking FTX cars.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching

Awesome bro, see ya' at the track!!
Cool RC and info
Cheers Duke thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing buddy 👍🏻👍🏻
Looking forward to running it this weekend. Weather permitting
Cool reviews my friend 👍😍
Thanks Rene looking forward to running it soon
looking forward to the running video. Thanks
Not as much as I’m looking forward to running it ... hope the weather improves.
Can't wait to see it run mate, I first started rc by racing, I have thought about getting back to it, I'm eyeing off a team associated b7 4x4
Cheers mate, we love a bit of close racing. The associated B7 does look good. How would you hold up on the track against the seasoned racers ?... it’s fair to say we were a little rusty hahaha.
The brushless version of this car is so friggin fast I think it comes with a 13t motor😅 I have a vid on it on my channel.
Such a great platform
Awesome video my friend🍻🍻
Very informative
Cheers buddy..thanks for watching
@@PopalongRC u'r welcome my friend🍻🍻
Stay safe and stay healthy💪
Nice rc car 😍😍😍😁
It’s time to put it to the test
They work really well as an entry level touring car, had a few run them at my local track.
They look solid and I can imagine they will do well ... looking forward to putting it to the test.
What upgrades do ppl do and set up for racing
@@joshuasalisbury789 next to none on the mechanical side but the electronics aren't really very suitable for racing. My local club runs the CORE RC 21t motor paired with the Hobbywing 1060 ESC and we allow lipo 2s 7.4v battery as well, a suitable realistic scale body and a digital radi/transmitter with steering end point adjustments and steering curve/exponential is also a good idea. That only really leaves the servo which may as well be done at the same time to something like a budget metal geared low profile one like Etronix do. The roller version they do now is excellent value as you can then pick what you want on the electronics side
That's right, your setup means nothing if you got no grip at the tire.. keep the content coming
Cheers Rod ... thanks for watching
Would the m05 be similar in performance to m07? Using same motors and battery?
The M07 is of a higher quality to the M05 with more flexibility and option when making adjustments and car set up.
M03 and M05 are more limited with set up but that’s one of the reasons they have stood the test of time as they are robust cars
@@PopalongRC ok great. May be worth the extra money for the m07 then
Imagine popalong buying a new car and it not being FTX lol
I actually did recently but it’s broken ...
