- This is an old new comparison of Galaxy S21 and S23 camera! Today, we are comparing Galaxy S21 vs Galaxy S23 camera! We've been showing off S21 Fan Edition on this channel but the regular Galaxy S21 might be a better value!
Samsung Galaxy S21 is a really solid choice if you want to stay out of the battery issues of Samsung Galaxy S22, it is cheaper and the design and build quality is almost the same! You still have that triple camera setup and AMOLED screen and with the longer battery life! But, if you want to get the best possible specs on a Samsung Galaxy phone and not needing the space zoom- you may go with the regular Galaxy S23! The performance is almost the same (compared to S23 Ultra) but smaller, so if you like something that you can hold in one hand and if you're not needing the s pen then Samsung Galaxy S23 will be your best bet!
Samsung Galaxy S23 can be bought around less than $800 while s21 is 1/3 the price of galaxy S23! So after watching this video and considering everything on this two phones which do you think is a better choice?

This was a good review. If you use remaster on s21 it can remove the washed out photos.
Overall if you are not a gamer and just a regular user s21 is still a good value for money.

I like the s21 design in the cameras
This test would only be fair if you used open camera for your test, or some other third party camera app. I suspect Samsung have sharpened the video on thier software for the S23 and hence a fair comparison can't be made with default camera app. You could probably achieve same image quality by changing saturation & sharpness in davinci resolve or some other editing software. That is just my thoughts but i could be wrong.

Why is the video choppy in the beginning? On the s21. S23 added way to much sharpening = bad and there is nothing youncould do about it. S21 8k video looks miles way better.

I come here after comparison of iPhone 13 pro vs iPhone 15 pro, it's concluded you have no reason upgrade your phone in 2-3 years gap. I probably wait until S24+/S25+ or iPhone 16+/17+ release.

Forget the pixel. I got a pixel 6 pro. Camera is very disappointing. It is far behind the s21. I also have Xiaomi 11 ultra that is fantastic. Imagine 13 pro must be great.

In fact, the S23 is an S21 with better video stabilization that does not try to make the natural contrast of images, especially people, disappear.
If the Galaxy S had the Photographic Style option like the iPhones, it would have been easy to get the results of the S23 with the S21.
