    Tried Load Up for about a year. Mattress pick ups were always 39 dollars here in Florida. Also you are supposed to have a helper with you on every job. Money just doesn’t add up. For me anyways.

      Oh I get it trust me! In PA its usually somewhere around 56-60 dollars per mattress. That's why I'm doing multiple jobs a day or just adding a few on in conjunction with my actual moves/junk removal, that way I'm not paying a helper or my employees to go pick up something for nothing essentially.

      Down side is they require a helper with you for each job. Jobs don't pay enough to pay helper. Also they will scam you to purchase zip codes from them then you don't get much from them. If you opt out of the purchased zip codes they charge your account $25 each zip code. Glad to see young guys working hard and hustling . I grew up in Chester PA In the 80s and now live in New England. Good luck my friend.

      New York here. Mattresses are like 50-90 dollars. Law requires customers to bag their stuff and we don't get em bagged up. Load takes about 70% of the customers money and gives the rest to the loaders. When we asked about bagging mattresses, they told us we needed to pay for the bags from the money we earn from each load. We use up way too much gas it sucks up like half of the money. Gotta get food. The cheapest dump rent in New York is $300 and you still need to get your own land, the dumpster rental is way too small also. Loadup takes money from the customers to pay to their employees and developers. Not all customers are nice. The best way not to upset them is to shutup and move in silence.... oh, yea.. you also need a helper even if the loads you can do on your own.
      If lifted large heavy items over 5 large stair cases down stairs in tight spaces. I spoke with one of the representatives and they told there are loads on complaints on loadup that have been emailed. Have you guys ever got into a double order and have driven far away. Loadup nor the customer will notify you about the double order so their would be 2 teams of loaders arroiving. You don't het comensated for gas when that happens. Load needs to charge a lot more because the reason why customers may a lot of money for the loads is because of the dumping fee that all companies need to pay to dump. Loadup takes more a dumping fee and uses it to pay customer sevice as developers. So then you'll have no choice to do residential dumping or some how sell or keep it. On their website loadup has large dumps.... but you can't use their own either. Switch to something real quick away from loadup because eventually if you arrove in one of these rich buildings that do not have a service elevator.... they'll make hard and they'll be really rude when you are carrying to load to your vechicle. The fact that you guys get paid way less other places just shows how bad this company is.

      I think it all depends on location. Some areas are busier than others it's good as a complimentary service but not great to rely on as your sole source of business

    What's up bro..is there a app than can find leads and use a rental truck for junk removal?

    • @themovenjunkguy
      @themovenjunkguy  Před rokem

      I'd say the closest would be load up or thumbtack those would be the only lead gen apps I know of

  • @Westcoast10

    I feel like this app is gonna kill the junk removal market, leads without marketing is cool but it’s gonna end up being no different than Uber if people support this app. It’ll just get to a point where the pay is gonna be trash and load up gets all the business.

  • @clearitjunkremoval

    Sorry but supporting Load Up is like supporting your competition. Imagine calling a competitor and asking if you can support his business it’s only hurting you in the long run because they will pump up there ads and dominate your market with your work…
