The videos are extreme quality. Then again the yachting market is probably a bit exclusive.
Everything on this boat looks nice.....but the houndstooth pattern black and white carpet. It's original. Lol.

As a yacht captain I have to say that I would love to work on such a well though out project. I also think that it's important for everybody- the owner and the crew- to make them sure that a 'crew friendly/practical yacht design' is a win-win situation where the owner gets really every single bit of his yacht. And about this episode, well I think it's one of the best so far. Cheers!

Now this is a yacht that i would say is original and futuristic!! I am one that believes the yachting industry needs originality! All yachts look similar in style and layouts but this is something new !! Their are lots of sketches of yachts that are amazing but will they ever reach production??? I love the size of the top deck! This is the most important space on any boat!! Isnt the most important aspect of any yacht how much space you have yet so many yacht designers waste space ! Sometimes i think i could do better in utilizing space than some designer's! This is a breath of fresh air! I have seen it before and loved it! Lets hope others follow in really taking the yachting industry to the next level!!!

David, thank you for this video. I really do like the design of this yacht. The Porche influences are very apparent. It might make me a convert. The bow of the vessel, which seems to be the new trend, is still difficult for me to embrace. That being said, on this ship it truly works. The use of pods for propulsion are is brilliant. Cruise vessels have been using them for quite sometime, I have always wondered why larger yachts did not. I always learn something new from your presentations.

What a beautifully styled interior and exterior. The subtle minimalism counter-balanced by the dramatic hounds-tooth is genius. Most of these boats look all beige and boring inside with too light or too dark wood. But not his baby...she reminds me of a beautiful loft space with chrome, wood and glass. Damn! She has such pretty, old school lines! She's the water sister to Howard Hughes' "Spruce Goose".

Diane Martinez - Their designs are trend setting. I’ve seen the bedroom wall that folds out to create a veranda while the teak deck extends and the railing goes up on a few new boats. I may be wrong but they seemed to be first in the market with that.
I absolutely love the wider 165. But I must admit, this one has me quite excited too.

Love the houndstooth carpets. Porsche has used houndstooth in their interiors for almost as long as they’ve been building cars. I’ve never seen it in such a large pattern before but I like it.
David, the one thing that separates what your doing here from your competitors is you provide a lot of information.

This is one of the most perfect yachts ever seen. Size, design, colors, layout etc. .... I have rarely seen an existing yacht on wich I would change nothing after purchase.
That bow design is excellent. Remember. The more wake you produce, the more fuel you burn. A large wake looks cool, but it burns fuel. Entropy if you will.

That vane at the rear of the vessel is just like a rear spoiler on a race car, only upside down and on a ship!! Same principle and took a car maker to think of it.

David if you know anything about hydro dynamics you would know that the hull vane is simply redirecting the water flow thus creating drag but then its your job to put lipstick where required.

As always spectacular video. Thank you for following up on my question. As with everything else, the older the technology gets, the less costly it becomes... Typically. Especially when newer, proven technology comes to market. Not that we're likely to see a new propulsion system anytime soon.
This is one mind blowing vessel. I hope to see it at one of the shows. Perhaps in Florida on November 1st. She is stunning. And some of the truly remarkable features you touched on really show they put their all into her.
Doh!! Someone hit the swim platform/ladder. No problem. Cover it up with polished stainless steel panel. An easy to replace sacrificial trim piece for future mishaps.
Lastly, were you in a position to notice any difference with quad stabilizers? Or was this designed decision made in order to have four smaller stabilizers closer to the hull to minimize the chances of collision?

I counted 1248 adjectives used to embellish every aspect of this yacht during this video. I've never heard a sales presentation with such a massive number of adjectives in my lifetime. Whew... sounded a wee-bit over the top, haha.

Should be able to hydroplane, and a bubble system in the hull from bow to stern. Best fuel efficiency.
I see on the website you can order with 4 state rooms, that would be adequate, now my only complaint is, I really don't like all the loose cushions, they are totally annoying and even uncomfortable, but I'm sure that can be easily rectified.
Pods are a superior propulsion system, more expensive to maintain, but well worth it, also more economical fuel consumption.

There's actually TWO reasons why I'm not currently qualified for a yacht:
My wife keeps buying the wrong Mega Millions ticket, and as a swimmer, I sink well.
But hey - No Charge for looking and dreaming...right?
And YES, Azipods are definitely THE way to go for any vessel big enough to handle them.

Glad you enjoyed it. I like the fact that the Dynamiq configurator shows the price changes as you choose options...I've not seen that before on a yacht website.
I also saw your interview with the CEO, and truly think he is onto something with his approach. The upcoming yacht buyers are now in their 20/30's, and approaching the build/sales process according to their digital lifestyle is a smart move!

Hi David, Dynamiq has this yacht on their website for €12.5 excluding options, yes listed this specific "1of7" for €8.5 (INCLUDING €1.4m in options!). Is a €5m price reduction in just little over a year normal in the yacht building industry? They are essentially selling a one year old "demo" yacht for almost halve price....Can't be a good sign for future buyers I imagine?

Love this! Kind of reminds me of Logica for some reason. Do you know anithing about what is going on with them? Was it a one time sensation?
Logica have a range of yachts available but only ever built one. By remarkable coincidence, even though the designer of Dynamiq is totally different to Logica the GTT 115 was actually built in Logica's shed!
That's the only connection between the two yachts as far as I am aware though.
for me it was the kind of unique and brave approach to yacht design

It is interesting but i still prefer the Wider 150 that you have shown on your video's
How far can it go on hybrid power
Payments are only about 2500 a day. So if I pull into a busy port and charge 100 dollars a person for tours then this could easily be a money maker. :). Lunch on board for 12 lucky persons at 500 a person could raise an additional 6k a day.
