Armik you are awesome...I've been listening to Armik since 2002, when I was introduced to his music by a friend of mine. I have all his CD's now...I just wish he puts on a concert show together sometime in the near future..I would love to see him perform live...

this has got to be one of the best guitar pieces i've heard... Armik rules in classical guitar no question about that. The music has emotion like no other..
After listening to Armik almost two years back, I stopped playing rock music and converted to learning spanish. Now I only listen to him :) he is addictive.
Armik is from Armenia... and his music is mediterranean .. not strictly spanish ... you will notic his sound is different from say paco da lucia or paco pena .... his music is more of mediterranean .. and yes you are right .... one of the most romantic kind of music is the mediterranean music.... i was just like you mad rock and roll fan ... but i also find flamenco has it's own way of making you feel music in a different way
Long story short. sitting at work, had to call up Canon service desk, was on hold and this is what I was hearing. Asked the analyst what the hold music was, they said Armik Road to Paradise album. now I'm here.....Brilliant

Wow! This is a great song and a favorite of mine. I love the video too. Lots of bright colors and dancing that to me accents the beautiful melody. I don't mind the focus on the dancers that much. It's not like you never see Armik at all. He is the star, but this gives us more than just watching him play onstage. It's a nice and very romantic backdrop.
Armik inspires me in a way no other guitarist can. If he can play this with those sausage fingers then anyone should be able to! No excuses of having short or sausage fingers people!
