At the end of the day they are adapting comics. They ain't going to completely go off script. Season 1 will always be the best on a story telling level but there's a ton of dope shit coming. Season 2 did do a great job with kinda mirroring the Mark/Nolan dynamic where we see what Mark COULD become (in multiple timelines in fact) being just like Omniman, perhaps even “scarier” in some renditions, while showing that HUMANITY that Nolan once found, then lost (now he’s finding again.. that constant battle with HIM, like Marks constant battle with being a TRUE Viltramite) But, nothingggggg & I mean nothing hit as hard in Season 1’s finale.. just seeing Omniman snap after that long build up of knowing what he done to the guardians.. Mark trying to teach HIM some humanity… *chefs kiss. The whole thing was nice Season 2 did a great job following that up! Can’t wait for Season 3
The finale didnt have the same "wow" factor of the season 1 finale, but I still think it was an overall excellent episode from a writing standpoint. I definitely get the logic that the second half needed to be more reflective and let you sit in what happened with Mark. The fact that it takes its violence and actions seriously without trivializing its consequences is a huge part of what gives the story weight. From a thematic standpoint, this was definitely the way to end it. I would bet good money that we won't hwve to wait any longer than summer 2025 to see season 3.
Season 2 was the build up for what's to come. That's usually how a series works. At least one season has to serve as a Segway for better story telling in the subsequent seasons etc.

it wasnt lame , but disappointing compared to to last season finale and especially how much of a toll it took on mark after the fight , the fight should have been more brutal in a way or something , plus the problem for me was the animation , the last season finale had better animation , some punches in the fight scenes felt powerful and looked stupid at the same time , same thing in episode 7 when he fought anissa .

I'm begging the invincible war is done justice and at least lasts over two to three episodes. Show us many big time or small street level heroes working together and fight off the invincible variants like it's their own moment. Let every single fight, line, and death be felt throughout the season. If they do it right let it be 3 episodes 1 per day during the mid season and let Conquest be the season finale fight. I haven't been hyped for anything like this in years and this has so much potential to be incredible

They are following the timeline of the invincible comics which came out over a decade ago, but I think the show is definitely improving it, levy angstrom vs invincible actually happened before some of the events of season 2 in the comics, but it was was definitely the strongest issue they could’ve chosen for the finale of season 2, I’m pretty sure they’ll follow the timeline of the comics more accurately in season 3. They got Cecil vs Invincible, Oliver’s superhero introduction, Werewolf man and also Powerplex, Invincible War if it’s only one episode will probably be episode 7, Conquest will appear at the end of episode 7, like angstrom appears at the end of episode 6, conquest fight will end like half way through episode 8, with the aftermath being the second part

If its real good then because we have a hunch on where the season is going but I’m also a little scared cause of how season 2 turned out. We waited so long for season 2 and only got 4 episodes then got a 4 month break because “we needed time to digest“ what we got. Idk I think they can fit it all into season 3 after cutting out some of the minor fight scenes and streamlining some of the other events. I’d imagine them doing 1.5 or maybe 2 episodes on the invincible war, and split the conquest fight between two halves of 2 episodes with half of the finale episode covering the aftermath. You might not like it cuz it’s not a 100% comic adaptation, but it’s doable. As for the time skip, pretty clear to me the first episode will be taking place months after the season 2 finale to give Oliver his powers by episode 1

I liked Season 2. The viewership dropped off due to the hiatus between seasons. Very faithful show (comparatively speaking) to both Robert Kirkman's writing and Cory Walker's art. Probably because they both work on the show. Also, the Ryan Ottley "cameo" was awesome. The voice actor who played Filip Shaff was hilarious. 😂

That really isn't necessary. They're also absolutely going to condense certain things, rearrange others, and remove the unnecessary subplots entirely. Remember how they completely skipped the opening arc of the series with the teacher bomber in favor of making the season a mystery about who killed the Guardians which only lasted all of one issue? They're staying true to the spirit of the story and sticking closely to the major beats, but they're definitely mixing some of the secondary things up. They could easily do the Invincible War in season 3. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the fight with Conquest is the finale of season 3.
Also you want them to drag invincible war for 3 seasons but then also think they should squeeze both conquest battles, all the Viltrumite war set up, the entire Viltrumite war, dinosaurus, the scourge virus, Nolan becoming emperor, and the reboot into season 6?
Ok, I get that invincible is gonna be long but that’s pushing it. The invincible war can 100% be around 3 episodes since they’re mostly an hour long. And that means season 3 can end on the conquest fight. I don’t want the show to be rushed, but the amount of dragging out you’d have to do for some of this is a lot.

Season two ended bad because of the mid season break, the actual show with season 2s ending is great in my opinion, hinting to us that this is when mark actually starts to us his full power or at least part of it

If its real good then because we have a hunch on where the season is going but I’m also a little scared cause of how season 2 turned out. We waited so long for season 2 and only got 4 episodes then got a 4 month break because “we needed time to digest“ what we got. Also worried about the animation because that’s gonna be a very key point on how the seasons gonna do so hopefully it doesn’t do bad. Not saying that season two did bad but it could’ve been better.

this has to be for season 4 ,the conquest battle is just way too early for the season and mark, there soo many other things that have happend after the Amstrong Levy fight theres no way in hell it can all fit into 1 single season its gonna take atleast 2 too fit all of the blue suit invincible journey + atleast a time skip.

Idk I think they can fit it all into season 3 after cutting out some of the minor fight scenes and streamlining some of the other events. I’d imagine them doing 1.5 or maybe 2 episodes on the invincible war, and split the conquest fight between two halves of 2 episodes with half of the finale episode covering the aftermath. You might not like it cuz it’s not a 100% comic adaptation, but it’s doable.
As for the time skip, pretty clear to me the first episode will be taking place months after the season 2 finale to give Oliver his powers by episode 1

As an image comics (and indy comics) fan, I started collecting Invincible from the very 1st issue on the very Wednesday it came out (along with Firebreather). I liked Season 2. The viewership dropped off due to the hiatus between seasons.
Very faithful show (comparatively speaking) to both Robert Kirkman's writing and Cory Walker's art. Probably because they both work on the show.
Also, the Ryan Ottley "cameo" was awesome. The voice actor who played Filip Shaff was hilarious. 😂

Ik Kirkman has plan for Invinsible to have atleast 7 season,but due the amount of stuff the comic has its gonna take atleast 10- 12,wheter people like it or not the invincible war has to be dedicated an entire season straight from the gecko, which mean season 3 and 4 has to be about the rest of the things that happend in in comic with blue invincible ,season 5 should be all about the invinsible war,6 they start it off with the conquest battle and the first viltrumite war we get introduced to Tragg and etc then the war ends and they have a time skip ,season 7 when robot take over the planet,8 where Alan betrays invincles and gets oliver killed,9 the final battle between invincible and a thragg ,realistically it should last 9-10 seasons.
They don’t need to drag the invincible war on for another 3 seasons. If they try they can fit it all into season 3 with conquest starting season 4.
That really isn't necessary. They're also absolutely going to condense certain things, rearrange others, and remove the unnecessary subplots entirely. Remember how they completely skipped the opening arc of the series with the teacher bomber in favor of making the season a mystery about who killed the Guardians which only lasted all of one issue? They're staying true to the spirit of the story and sticking closely to the major beats, but they're definitely mixing some of the secondary things up. They could easily do the Invincible War in season 3. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the fight with Conquest is the finale of season 3.
Also you want them to drag invincible war for 3 seasons but then also think they should squeeze both conquest battles, all the Viltrumite war set up, the entire Viltrumite war, dinosaurus, the scourge virus, Nolan becoming emperor, and the reboot into season 6?
Ok, I get that invincible is gonna be long but that’s pushing it. The invincible war can 100% be around 3 episodes since they’re mostly an hour long. And that means season 3 can end on the conquest fight. I don’t want the show to be rushed, but the amount of dragging out you’d have to do for some of this is a lot.
