- This seriously was probably one of the craziest bus lives of our lives! From the driver driving on the wrong side of the road to us almost hitting MANY people and cars, you could say this is a bus trip to remember 😅

That's a crazy ride. Even as a local I've never travelled that far by a public bus. But we usually go journeys in buses. They have so many facilities like a large water tank and a refrigerator
It was crazy!!! We ended up taking an A/C night bus back to Colombo, which turned out a little less crazy 😂

We are so happy to be in Sri Lanka helping any way possible! We had people warn us not to come to Sri Lanka because of what was being broadcasted on the news. In the end, it ended up being one of our top favorite countries, EVER! We will tell everyone to come, we love it so much!

I had a bus ride like that here in the Philippines. Bus was full and they even had fold down seats for the center aisle. I was given an isle seat and it had no back. Thank god it was only a 2 hour ride.
We have ridden in a few of those as well!

Sorry for all the trouble you endured in Sri Lanka mainly bcs of some bad tuk tuk drivers. But generally people are so kind here in my country. I hope you will come again to Sri Lanka. All the best for your next journey.

Hey, guys what do you think about Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka tourism? And what are your thoughts about what should we do to improve our Sri Lanka tourism comparing other countries' tourism?
I think people just don't know about Sri Lanka! The people are so kind and generous to tourists. I think Sri Lanka is doing everything right, it just needs a little more time before it really catches on! As tourism rises, our only thought is to try to keep and preserve the culture as much as possible. People want to come to experience Sri Lanka as it is, and if everything is catered to tourists, it takes the charm out of a great place :)

Next time take the train to Batticaloa and 3 hour bus from there to Arugam Bay. Train journey to Batticaloa very beautiful.

A train actually would have taken us significantly longer! We also were glad to have experienced this 😁
That bus ride was a new experience for both of you.. If you are traveler you must try this kind of things.. it might be not comfortable ride but its worth it to try that.. I would like the video to be a little longer, at least more than 10 minutes (Even if it's not like that, it's okay)....

😂if you want to know ,when many foreigners came to srilanka,one thing they sayed is that srilanka public buses are so crazy😂i think their is no any other country which public buses going this much of speed like a race in public roads
even this is completely different when their is a bus stop ,some passengers getting to foot board before the bus stop and at the halt bus driver slow down and passenger get out from the bus before the bus get stop completely in the halt😂

You guys have been over charged by the tuk tuk driver in colombo. From java lounge to pettah bus station 200 LkR is maximum. Take metered tuks when ur in colombo ❤😊
