Nadal fan here..I won't argue that Federer clearly wins the talent eye test over Djokivic/Nadal..He makes it look so easy!!...Alot of QB's have/had more talent than Tom Brady...Alot of golfers have/had more talent than Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus... Djokovic and Nadal are not clearly better than Federer but both of them have owned Federer head to head in the most important matches...With that said regardless of Djokovic/Nadal... Federer is a legend and one of the greatest to ever grace a tennis court...All 3 will forever be in in the conversation of GOAT...Making a blanket statement for any of the big 3 as hands down GOAT is silly

He could have defeated any prime player at any time in any era🤯🤯🤯🤯 06 was so close. 2017 coz he yearned to defeat rafa during his prime years. But 2017, he was on🔥🔥🔥 so this separates 2017 with 2006 defeating even rafa multiple times with ease. But 2006 is more than enough to obliterate anyone with current technology and work out regime. We can say he redefined 2006 in 2017.. Just stunning.

    • @philipashishjames6954
      @philipashishjames6954 Před 2 lety +1

@clue mysteryRoger has defeated prime Novak 2011 RG semis, rafa was also close to prime in 2017 2 slams. Also that backhand could have won a RG against rafa in the earlier years. Who knows. All I know is that backhand was troubling rafa a lot.. He beat rafa mercilessly 4 times that year. Game wise Roger's backhand was being vulnerable against rafa. He improved that also. Being 4 to 5 years older than Novak and Rafa and still being able to challenge them is something beyond your thought process. Here we don't question his prime. Wat questions is how good is Roger that he was able to defeat Novak and Rafa nearly after 37 or 38 years. I think u can't comprehend in ur tiny brain on how impressive comeback that was in 2017.

There was a great Reddit post describing the essential differences between the big 3, likened Nole to having 2 shields, Rafa to having a sword & a shield & Fed to having 2 swords. Idk why everyone must insist their fav player is the "best ever", can mean so many things (Highest peak? Best longetivity? Most complete player with fewest weaknesses on average?) Is very very subjective based on criteria. But just enjoying enjoyable tennis is where it's at :)

For the love of the game
    The adoration of the fans
    The maestro’s at work
    Building on the plan
    The blueprint created
    As we watch the play
    Yes, we all waited
    It was the peRFect day
    We are…
    The FedFan
    You’ll be…
    Hitting the groove
    In peRFect time
    Ripping the forehand
    Down the line
Gliding….with an effortless sort of mastery
    Aces on Fire
    Focus so Cool
    Slicing the drop shot
    Destinеd to rule
    Witnessing the majеsty….the glory
    Come on….yeah
    Inspiration is found
    In every single shot
    With the timeless refinement
    Of a Rolex watch
    Turning coal into diamonds
    With precision and grace
    The maestro’s at work
Everyone’s got that look on their face
    We are…
    The FedFan
    We’ll be…
    Hitting the groove
    In peRFect time
    Ripping the forehand
    Down the line
Gliding….with an effortless sort of mastery
    Yeah yeah yeah yeah….
    Aces on Fire
    Focus so Cool
    Slicing the drop shot
    Destined to rule
    Witnessing the history…
    It’s just…..peRFect
    The Fire
    The Ice
    Legendary
    From the Swiss Alps
    To the Match for Africa
    Extraordinary
Melbourne, Paris, London, and New York!!!
    We’ve got…
