Paul Rey, 30, från Lund har sjungit sig till final i Melodifestivalen med låtarna ”Talking in My Sleep” (2020) och ”The Missing Piece” (2021).
Men redan år 2015 fick han ett amerikanskt skivkontrakt, och 2017 släppte han singeln ”California Dreaming” med Arman Cekin och Snoop Dogg. Paul har haft Quincy Jones som mentor.
Pauls musikaliska resa började med hiphopmusik när han var tonåring, och han nådde tidiga framgångar under artistnamnet ”P.J.” Han har också varit förband till den amerikanska gruppen Fifth Harmony och turnerat med Nico & Vinz.
Paul Rey har streamats över 200 miljoner gånger på Spotify och skrivit flera stora hits åt andra artister. År 2022 tävlade han i Melodifestivalen som upphovsman åt Cazzi Opeia med “I Can't Get Enough”.

I like it quite surprised it's far from bad. It's a very happy and not depressing song which we need right now. The only downside is that it may be a little too generic, but it's easy to listen to. He's in my top 4 for the melfest finale!!

Tired of so many MelFest songs with unoriginal titles. Like, let's all be honest, Royals is owned by Lorde. Too many songs trying and failing to ride name recognition. A give away of that songwriting formula is when they repeat the title excessively, they know what they're doing. Royals are also very much not rebels lol
