I didn't notice this until right before upload so I didn't get a chance to add it but Dillon neglects to see the nuance where I am in support of doctors when it comes to things like joint replacement surgery. Something the medical industry does very well and it was like a 2 or 3 minute segment of the video he was reacting to on Twitter.
Gotta love the no nuance takes of "He hates doctors because he doesn't think they are good at absolutely everything!" This is what I mean when I say that he didn't actually watch the video. He was just looking for ways to attack me.

@@SorayaTheArtist My advice is to try a few different diet plans and see which one works best ones like Keto, Mediterranean, High Protein, Low Carb. Calorie counting is another big thing because a lot of everyday foods are surprisingly high in calories and if you get motivated with music listen to it when you exercise it'll make you forget you're even exercising sometimes, always stay slow with exercise until you get used to it then you can slowly increase the intensity of it.

Logic won't work against people who prefer feelings over facts.

Im on my own health journey and I think this promotion of obesity is just a way for companies to make money.
Oh it very much is, more body mass, higher food consumption, more body care products for increased surface area, less complaints about the quality of ingredients, more health problems to cash off of with big pharma. It very much is about money. But the same is true for fitness and health gurus capitalizing off of the people who want to get better but don’t have the information and know how to do it. In medical school we've been taught about illness, and extensively about obesity, of course, but've only learned surface-level nutrition science. Because there is no need for more, because that's WHY there are specialties. I just finished up a clinical rotation for PT and almost every med chart I looked at was filled with prescriptions. PTs and doctors are aquantinces for the most part and by far not friends. I trust my primary but then again I can see auras and everything always works out in my favor. But the vast majority of doctors have Grey auras. Idk if the clot shot is causing some people's auras to fade to Grey but it's common. I don't trust anyone with a greyed out aura in any field.

Side Note: Dizziness isn't really caused by exercising on a restrictive diet. Its caused by low salt/iron content in the blood. Especially in modern times where everybody is afraid of salt due to health propaganda...What happens is that people already on low salt diets AND restrictive diets get even less salt/iron causing the dizziness.
EDIT: Clarification, "real salt," (e.g. sea salt) has electrolytes which are not present in the "sodium," used in processed foods which is electrolyte deficient.

it's good to have salts or sodium, YES OFC, but it's because people mindlessly consume densely salty foods, as it is normalized, and get surprised they feel the effects of it as if salt is the villain and not their lazy eating habits (like people eat ramen not realizing one pack is usually if not exclusively two servings, even though it's on the label, so they eat double the thousands of sodium in one serving, but for nuance's sake, it's even packaged as if it's one serving when it's two or sometimes three).

Med student here, and i totally agree that our training does not prepare us to give weight loss advice. We've had very little teaching on diet and exercise, maybe a few lectures, a lot of them focus on specific micronutrient deficiencies like B12. We should be referring patients to specialists with better training in diet and exercise sciences.
I wish I would have realized that he forgot to point out that I took the doctor's side when it came to hip replacement. Something doctors are very good at.

@@DrawinskyMoon I do think there is a tendency in a lot of fields to prescribe medications as the first line of treatment, not just women's health, though that is a problem area for it. The truth is pretty layered, from doctors being rushed to push patients through at speed, and lifestyle advice takes more time than prescribing, to the general attitude many have that their doctor should "fix them", meaning provide quick and "easy" solutions like pills or surgery. I say "easy" because people don't often consider the extra stuff like side effects or medication or recovery from surgery that actually mean lifestyle changes are much more doable.
