Gold & Silver Coin Dealers Shenzhen, CN - Check out these independent dealers separate from the main coin market. You can get some great values when you look off the beaten path. Keep stacking!
I really hope Vodka didn't get "silenced". We need your insight on what it's like in China, especially with what's happening right now. Hopefully awaiting for an upload soon.
I have 6 panda's at NGC.....for the past 3 months! Inc silver frosted ring 2000 and an oddity.....a 1998 QDR-001....which they picked up. Results in a week I think.
My coin dealer does a big show in Hong Kong every year. Collector demand seems very high over there. Maybe the prices are a little jacked because of lack in competition. Not enough coin shops.
howdy clearasvodka! I am an expat as well. I have been looking at buying older silver coins from the early 1900s. Have you had any issues taking these out of the country with you when you leave?
just an update for those following, I managed to get all my coins out of the country with no questions asked. I did not try anything older than 1900 though.
No. You must get a VISA. What you can do, is get a 24 or 48 hour VISA. That would give you enough time to see the coins. Usually they issue these type of VISAs at the airport. But you can also inquire at the border or in Hong Kong at a travel office.
Yes, they are. Yes, they will continue to go up. Remember, they didn't mint enough of them and there are so few that are graded at MS69 or MS70. Just like many American silver dollars from Carson City Mint. For an official commemorative coin, the panda series from the 80's and 90's were seriously under minted. Over 1 billion Chinese cannot be wrong. That's a lot of yuan chasing just a few thousand graded coins...
clearasvodka sorry for the stupid question - just a point of reference for me down the road (after I save my pennies). Which of the 83, 84, and 85 is the most sought after? Thanks again Clear.
Well, 83 is perhaps the most sought after since it is the first one. But you really cannot go wrong if you can get your hands on any of them. It should be certified and you should check eBay, NGC and auction prices to get the best deal. If you cannot find at a reasonable price, get the 1995 proof.
clearasvodka thanks so much for the feed back Clear. GREATLY appreciated! I think I’ll stick with the 83 1st and then move up. It looks like the going rate from what I see on Clark coin vault and eBay is 3-4K. I’ll look at the 1995 proofs too. Thanks again for the feedback and the many awesome videos!
Hope that you're doing well. Frequently coming back to your channel looking for new videos.
Hey man how are you doing? Would love to see an update video good or bad.

Aren’t the 83, 84 and 85 panda silver 69’s really expensive at 3, 4 and 5k? Will they really continue to go up in value?
