‘We’re going to pay you.’ You’re returning money you already took from our paycheck. This thinking by the IRS is the problem. They think they’re PAYING us.

Great, but what about all of the people waiting for their refunds after having filed at the beginning (late Jan or early Feb)? The back log is huge.

It doesn't help that HR Block whole system is down. Filing electronically is down for over 12 hours now. The IRS should just shut down.

lol. they're probably overwhelmed. haha. 1M per hour. Only Big Tech companies can handle those loads with no problems. HR Block isn't a big tech company.

I’m still waiting on my tax refund and I file February 2 since I was in the eras department Critical role in and had to wait 10 weeks and still has not received my refund. What’s up with that?

Andrew you can pay all or part of your estimated income tax due and
indicate that the payment is for an extension using your bank
account. If you make a payment using the IRS
electronic payment options you don't need to file an extension (Form 4868) and will NOT be assessed a late filing fee!

People who aren't in the states that can use Direct File can use the IRS's free fillable forms filing but you need to be experienced with filling out a tax return manually because there is no hand holding with that option.

I don’t understand people who wait to file their tax returns. Almost all the documents you need are available by February 15th. Even if you owe money you can set a date for a deduction from your bank account.

You forgot to mention that the 16th amendment was not legally ratified so the 16th amendment should have be nullled but due fear mongering and extortion from the government people are forced to comply. The 16th amendment is not a valid amendment and needs to be repealed immediately.
