    This is pretty much how DD was first sold to me. "If you make $34 a day every day that's about $1,000 extra a month."
    I don't do this, but I usually work Friday and Saturday nights and make $100 each day for about $800 extra a month. I get I have other costs, but I work from home with my day job (so I have no commute ever). Doordash is a stress releiver for me. I get to chill, listen to podcasts, drive around my beautiful state, and make some money :)

    PRO TIP: IF YOU HAVE A 10 MINUTE WAIT( usually means 20) LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW THE ESTIMATED TIME OF WAIT AND DO ANOTHER NEARBY ORDER WITHIN THAT 15 MIN! You’ll double your weekly income

    even 40 to 50 dollars is very decent... i may try this method.. 2 hours 4-5 days per week for me seems pretty simple..

    That was a great tip on that PF Changs order - I would say that my most frustrating experiences have been delivering huge orders (i.e. 10, 15 or even 20 items) to nice houses or even mansions (we're talking $300-400 worth of food sometimes), and then getting a low tip, like $10 or $12. If it's a 1 or 2 item order with a possible hidden tip, you aren't really expecting much in the first place, but for those large ones (from expensive restaurants), your hopes are certainly much higher.

    for a very long time I was on SSI (Social security) Until a few months ago. Having gotten used to living on under $30 a day I chose door dash for the flexibility of scheduling, and because I figured if the two laziest people I know in real life can survive on DD with little to no work ethic or drive, then I SHOULD be able to do better. It took me a few weeks to get the hang of scheduling and then took me a month of borrowing money and working 4 hours a day of DD 5 days a week. I just this week am self sustaining and earn a little over twice a week on DD than I got for SSI in a range of 20-25 hours a week. averaging 75 -100 a day. If you are considering beginning gig work like Doordash I highly suggest it. If a disabled stoner like me can make if then YOU sure can! Good luck out there making them coins!

My highest tip ever. God bless her! I started Uber eat & DoorDash for only three days now. This is my side hustle now.

    TBF, that big of a tip on a catering order, some of that should go to restaurant staff who helped produce and package up the meals… just my 2 cents

    • @PhoenixDeliveries
      @PhoenixDeliveries  Před rokem +1

      Maybe it should, but if the driver has to wait 20+ minutes for the orders (very common), the driver is paid $0 for sitting there while the restaurant staff is paid the same for doing what they would normally do

    Great video, thanks! I have watched several videos trying to get a feel for these side gigs..but none seem to address what happens or how to manage the actual drop off at customers location.,.do you normally hand the items to customer? Do you just drop off outside their door and notify them? What is its fenced area or behind security gates and they don't answer their phones? Just trying to get a feel for all this, thanks!

    • @PhoenixDeliveries
      @PhoenixDeliveries  Před rokem +2

      You either drop the food at the door and take a picture or hand it to the customer. You'll see in the app as you arrive which one they want. Usually they want it right at their door so I usually go through the gates as long as I know there isn't a dog on the other side

    Hey Jacob, curious if you're getting the blank maps from UberEats? It's been happening for me and many others for a week or two (my acceptance rate is b/w 20-30% btw). It seems to happen randomly (i.e. sometimes they do show the route) - Uber support has always maintained that it was/is a "bug," but we drivers know better - At best, they are experimenting to see if drivers will take more orders before switching it back. At worst, they are just going to keep it this way permanently. I've probably declined some good orders because there are some areas that I just won't deliver to (i.e. dangerous parts of town or dangerous roads through mountains).

    • @PhoenixDeliveries
      @PhoenixDeliveries  Před rokem +1

      I have a lot of weird issues that could thought of as a "bug" but I think most of them are Uber attempting to test how much the drivers would be willing to put up with. Try to stick to the strategy you w=know will make you good money
